E3? Tomorrow? Where you lookin? (The prepare thread)
what time eastern time will sonys press thingy be?
According to this time zone converter website it will be at 2:30 PM eastern time.
Hopefully someone will make an AIM chat again (maybe me?). I'd much prefer that to the webchat.
I'm thinking about just going with the AIM chat since I'm also not a huge fan of the webchat.
Is the chat room just going to be called CAG?

Not to toot my own horn but I'll be covering the Nintendo press conference with a live blog (AJAX and all that jazz). I'll also be doing the same when I can with the 3rd party dev confs.

Hmm... I may see if I can extend my lunch break around the Nintendo conference tomorrow, just catch it on G4. Probably depends on how punctual it is.

Over where I live near the Microsoft press conference (sorta) we are expecting a thunderstorm today... isnt Microsoft planning to do it outside or something?
Anyone know the best place to find out about the killzone2 news and PC game coverage?
I'm sure news about Killzone will be everywhere.

I'm thinking it will be game of show in either a good or bad way. Good if it can hold up graphically to that one video, bad if it looks like shit. There's going to be a lot of talk about it I'm thinking.

Yea, MS's conference is outside. But do you think Lord Bill Gates will let God rain on his press conference. Not a chance.

Maybe they are going to unveil 360's attachable umbrella elite.

Hmmm sounds nifty.

I think Sony made it rain... tricky bastards!

Santa Monica is about 20-30 mins away from where I am at now... would it be worth driving over there? Since Microsofts confernce is outside could I watch from the sidelines?

I put up the AIM CAG room under the name "CAG".

If you want to get in:

1.Add yourself to your friends list
2.Click on your screen name
3.Click the chat room invitation button at the bottom of your friends list window
4.In the window that pops up - change the chat room name to "CAG"
5.And send the invite and it'll put you in the room.

I will probably not be responsive till around 11 PM but thought I'd get the room up early.

I guess I'll start in both and see what happens...time to attempt some homework before this goes down...

no no no no....Gamespot isn't loading for me! I paid $6 for a premium account...and if it's down and I can't stream the press conferences...ARGH!

Is it loading for anyone else?

I usually get my information from GameSpot, but it looks like it's dead due to network traffic. Those bastards! Where on the Xbox site can I watch the press conference live?

For those of you watching the gamespot stream.
You can close the browser if you want and view it in windows media player. Just open up WMP, click file, open url, and paste this into it http://www.gamespot.com/live/stream_asx.html?speed=300&path=mms://a1604.l1165413603.c11654.g.

guys I just got back from E3. I had to help setup.

The place is very small. If you don't go your not missing anything major. It's a complete 180 from last year. I don't think it would be worth going to if you were from out of state. It's that small.

The place is like one mega booth, with each company taking up an island of plasma screens. EA, sony, Nintendo and MS are in the front of the hanger next to the G4 stage.

There was this military game that you drove tanks and hilicopters that looked cool but most of the games were not up yet.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents.
