There's nothing like taking control of a running back, slipping a few attempted tackles by the defense, and marching onward for a huge run. On the other end of the spectrum, there's nothing like pulling off the preceding maneuver only to have the ball taken back to the spot of initial contact because of a glitch in the game.
That very bug has plagued some copies of NCAA Football 07 for the PSP, according to Electronic Arts. On the game's official edit today, the publisher announced that it will replace copies of the game that exhibit the glitch with brand new bug-free discs.
To get a fresh copy of NCAA Football 07, gamers should send their effected discs, along with their name, mailing address, e-mail address, and phone number, to the address below:
EA Customer Warranty
Attn: NCAA PSP
209 Redwood Shores Parkway
Redwood City, CA 94065

A replacement disc will be sent out within 10 business days. To apologize for the inconvenience, EA will also send out coupons good for $15 off gamers' next purchase at EA's online store, as well as free shipping on the order.

Just thought a few of you would care to know this!

It's about time they fessed up and made right. That bug is the reason I stayed away from the game. Still nice of them to make it as easy as possible to take care of the problem which, until recently, EA denied even existed.

See guys, EA isn't so bad. It's good to see that they owned up to the mistake and are not only giving people another brand new game but a nice little coupon. Seems like gamers came out on top of this situation.

are you kidding me?!

how can you justify what EA Sports does to consumers? EA is playing the averages here and expecting a poor response to the recall. they shovel out garbage every year and shameless automatons line up at midnight every August to part with your hard earned cash.

did anyone notice the lack of reviews for Madden this year before it's release date?

Madden 06 for PSP was recalled. NCAA 07 is now being recalled. and it's looking like Madden 07 will complete the trifecta.

here are two issues that have surfaced so far:

calling an audible or hot route will sometimes lock the QB where you can not hike the ball. you'll be forced to take the delay of game penalty.

sometimes on certain pass plays, the receiver icons will not match up to the playbook.

yes, these could be called minor issues at best. but in my opinion, I think these issues could have been easily caught with proper testing. something EA failed to do.

Dude, calm down. Most of what I said was in jest. Have you noticed that most games that come to market these days are buggy messes that wouldn't have even seen the light of day 10 years ago?

For the record, I haven't even played any of the 07 releases for EA. I didn't think any of them even jusitified a rental. From the sounds of it, you bought it or rented it. So for all your pomp and vinegar, you're the one who's supporting EA with your dollars. If you haven't played the game and you're just taking everyone's word on what bugs are in the game I apologize for calling you an EA supporter. At the same time, don't come in here and start lecturing me about what's wrong with a game you haven't even PLAYED. That goes on here alot. I'm not saying EA deserves to be bashed but when they try to do right just acknowledge the fact and move on. If you don't like that they just come out with minor updates every year and slap a $50 price tag on it, then don't buy or rent it. I guess the force isn't so strong with you.

ha-ha-ha...the force isn't strong with me. I've never heard that one before. I can't stop laughing. I wasn't lecturing. I was stating facts. two years. two recalled EA PSP football games.

all I'm trying to point out to you is that you're saying gamers came out on top in this situation. how is that so? people paid money for an EA Sports football game for their PSP's, and it wasn't tested properly. TWICE! and by people, I mean not I.

and most games nowadays are buggy? most is implying A LOT. I disagree with you there.

FYI: I stopped supporting EA when they bought the NFL license.

i bought madden 06 for $12.99 used. i never thought 12.99 was alot of money untill i played this piece of shit. 03 was a good year, i had it for the GC. NFL 2K5 just cant leave my xbox, im currently updating ALL of my rosters.
