CAGiversary!
Amazon is selling Ear Force PX5 Programmable Wireless 7.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound Headset with Bluetooth for $199.99. I have been watching this headset for a while. It's a powerful wireless surround headset with blue tooth with excellent reviews. But sometimes I am just thinking $200 is too much for a headset. You can buy a PS3 or Xbox in the Target or Bestbuy deal cheaper than this headset. Anyway this is the lowest price I have seen for this PX5 headset. Here is the link:

PX5

That'a a decent price, for the PX5, and the lowest I've seen it direct from amazon.

I already have a X41 sand I'm going to hold out for the Warhead from Tritton/MadCatz.

As for the price, it's reasonable given what you are getting in terms of features and customization, even with the bump in price from the X41. Being able to game, watch tv, movie, etc at whatever volume and time of day without bothering anyone else makes a gaming headset worth every penny.

Is the Warhead only for Xbox?

The warhead looks cool but unless i'm missing something, it seems that the chat feature is only designed to be used with the xbox 360. If this is the case, then I think these should not cost over $100. Also, TB is coming out with an adapter later this year that will allow the px5 to work wirelessly with the xbox controller so you won't need that chat cable anymore.

I really hope the Tritton AX 720 drop in price then. I think once Sony comes out with the official wireless headset in September, it's going to force Tritton/Turtle Beach to drop some of the prices for console specific headsets.

I have the PX5 and they are great. Not sure about anyone else here, but when I play games online, my friends and I communicate via cell phones and not the network voice chat. We find it to be clearer and easier to understand one another. So for me, the ability to listen to both my ps3 and be on the phone at the same time with one headset is one of the features that made it worth it. I also got this at the $200 price the first time it dropped to $200.
