How many were there ? (360) about how many people, and did they say if they are getting more before christmas ? Thanks

my friend went but didnt get it. Instead they gave him a note for $50 discount. They also didnt get any PS3 version.

Wow

After reading about all these random stock numbers of Rock Band (PS3/360), I hope there isn't a problem when I pick up my EB pre-order tomorrow.

some guy told me that they were supposed to stop taking preorders last monday but they ended up stopping on saturday b/c they werent sure they would even get enough to fill those
I went to a local Meijer and they had 4 Xbox 360 copies and exactly 4 people showed up.

EDIT: They had no PS3 copies.
My Meijer had 6 copies for Xbox 360, none for PS3.
Perhaps this so-called "PS3 version" doesn't exist at all.
Heh, my GS manager assured me yesterday that mine is waiting for me in the back of the store...so it had better. ;)

13 people in line at Sam's Club on E. Colonial in Orlando, I'd say 9 buyers. They at least a 4-5 foot high palate each of bundles per platform as well as a handful of game-only copies that I saw. Incredibly odd that Sam's would have a midnight launch for a video game, but there was pretty much no clamor, and I got it for $160 incl. tax. We then went back to the video game lounge at school and played until 4:30am-ish.

Already, one of the strummers stopped recognizing downward strums and was being unreliable on long streams before that.

Walmart had 4 bundles of each, but like 10 of each of game-only. There were over 30 people in line. I was #2. I'm glad I got there when I did.
any retailers selling games are becoming competitive with gamestop and wants a piece of the cake as well. they'll do whatever it takes to make a sale and make it quick. sam's is probably the last place people would think about buying their video games. but after your post im sure alot of people would head over there.

Already? Dang. The guitar at Walmart was broken too, but it was freaking Walmart. Good thing I have two Guitar Hero controllers.

I wanted to go to the midnight launch at my BB store, but since my 360 is broken it wasn't worth it.

Damn, didn't know there was such a demand for Rock Band. I was just at a shopping complex with a Target, Walmart and Circuit City. Each store had at least 10 of each per console. I guess the people in my area aren't that interested or are just to cheap to pick it up.

Best Buy in Melbourne Florida had ~150 of the 360 versions and ~100 of the PS3 version. They had so many of them it was hard getting through the front of the store. This was today around 11am.

Yeah, I must have missed the memo. Hopefully it won't be another Wii with hoarders reselling it for ridiculous prices... but chances are they will.
