I heard that the last sale allowed this but some people seemed unsure about the deal on this sale. Getting games for half the price ($15 each) is a great deal if it is allowed.
So, is it confirmed that the 2 for $30 on PC games can be the $30 titles

-Activison/Vivendi value Pc games at $19.99
Sorry. I meant for it to say Players Choice for the GameCube games.
sweet, b2g1 free.

i don't see how Gamestop even stays in the race with EB. i rarely buy anything from Gamestop.
I never go to GameStop anymore. I have 2 GameRushs and EB that is about to open up 5 minutes (walking time) from my house.

Probably because EBs totally suck and have clueless employees and don't stock worthwhile current games, much less classic games.

Actually my local EB is much better about classic games than the gamestop. The GS has absolutely no NES, Genesis, SNES, N64, or DC games and only an extremely tiny selcetion of PS1 games.
So do the sales really start 8/7? Because the online store just sold out of DCs and I want a Ps2.
The sale starts on the 7th, but some of the items (like the DC) had started early in the sale price.

The EB here has nothing other than current consoles and a small psx section., and have never had any carts in the 3 years i've checked it.

And the people there say stupid things like the gamecube has a very limited colour pallette and that all the games will look exactly the same because of it.

yeah, usually only the big eb stores carry it, or the ones in strip centers. If its a EB in a regular mall and the store isnt that big they usually dont sell 8-bit, 16-bit or N64/DC anymore, and if they get some traded in they usually ship it out to other stores.

Say what you want about GS, but I made out pretty well on trade-ins this weekend. I wanted to unload Wresltemania XIX, Def Jam, and 007 Nightfire. EB was about to give me $10 total. But I went to Gamestop and got $28 and change! But YMMV, of course.

Anyways, does anybody know if the B2G1 deals will be online? I know they've done that before during B&M sales, so I think it's fairly likely.

GS just ran the B2G1 free. On some games, eb has better deals, something gamestop has better deals.

I bought a load of used games from ebgames.com this past Sunday and used the pplay15 and saver codes. The games will probably be here tomorrow. I would have saved a lot more money had I waited til now to buy them, but I wasn't aware of the pending deal last Sunday. Does anyone know if I can send the unopened box back and get my money back and reordeer using the new offer? Or do they ever give store credit in situations like this? I probably would have saved around $25 or $30 extra had I waited until today. :(

Exclusion on this:

Titles published by Sony are excluded, per the flyer.

By the way, has anyone noticed that the 2 for $30 promotion is totally broken online?

If you select the PS2 section it shows GC games and the 2FOR30 still doesn't work even though the sale is supposed to start today.
Also, there is no Xbox section...

Very odd...

I just got Tales of Symphonia for $21.54 :)

I traded in my xbox games. Someone please tell me why I own xbox games when I only have a cube... :p I only get a chance to play them when I am other people's houses.

Anyway I got $15 for Top Spin, $10 for Oddworld (the $10 hot title deal, real value was $2) and $5 for Kung Fu Chaos. One weird thing happened though. The guy wanted Chaos (really bad actually) and asked if I would mind if he took it for $5. I thought, "Why would I care?" and said "Sure." He then: opened the register, took ten dollars out, pocketed $5 and gave me $5 towards TOS. I am not sure what that was all about but I didn't ask. lol I got the only copy left and it was the floor one but I didn't care as long as the discs were perfect and they always are from my EB. Gamestop is a different story...

Just got back from the Sterling Heights EB and here's the damage...
Got True Crime (GC) for $10 after I traded in Big Mutha Truckas for a $10 credit.
Also got RE:Make and Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom in the 2 for 30 Player's Choice Deal.

You know what's weird, two days ago when I went to EB before the sale started, they had loads of good used games for all platforms, like tons of them. I go into there today right when they open and the shelves of used games are virtually empty. I was the first one in there and the sale just started today. All they had was crap games and just two days ago, they had some really good used games in abundance. Really werid, seems unlikely they would sell that many used games in one day. Wonder what happened to them all. Pissed me off kinda, I couldn't even find three games worth buying across all 3 platforms.

Well I got Fatal Frame II, Onimusha 3, and ZOE:The 2nd Runner for 65 and some change. I didn't think that was too bad of a haul as all the games came with their manuals and only Fatal Frame II has minor scratches on it. It seems to work fine so far, but I'm definitely going to have to be the most wary of that one in case I have to return it because of it being unable to play due to one of those scratches.

Hey I got a question, I purchased Everquest Platinum today and the store didn't know about the 10 voucher even though it was advertised on the shelf. They told me to go print the one online and send it in. Well I went to do that and it says that you will get the code via email to use only online. Well I don't want an online coupon. I guess I will go to the other EB in town and see. Did anyone else today get a print voucher for buying on the games that came with a voucher?

Hey, I tried to get Animal Crossing and Super Smash Bros. But they said that wouldn't work because it had to be 2 PC games priced at 19.99 is this true?? However, I did get Wild Arms 3, Time Crisis 2, and Viewtiful Joe for about 38 dollars. They all have many scratches but very strangely, they all work perfectly...weird. I missed out on Ikaruga because someone bought it yesterday, Arg! Oh yeah, it seems some of the good PO games are missing there..weird also

Gues that means no animal crossing and mario gorf for me.

I smell some fink-rats on the PO stuff. Always did at EB.
Gues that means no animal crossing and mario gorf for me.

I just had the greatest EB experience EVAR!

I picked up 2 used copies of PSO 1 & 2 for the cube (1 for me, 1 for ebay :) ) and since one didn't have the instructions, the guy gave me the ones out of a display box!
Plus, I asked if they had any used copies of Ninja Gaiden for XBOX and the guy said no, but he let me get a "new" (turned out to be resealed but still in perfect condition) copy as my free game!

Plus with my 10% off, I ended up getting 3 games for $83 and I should be able to get at least $40ish back from PSO online so I think I got a nice deal.

Can you re-sell used PSO games? I thought once the access code was used by someone that it couldn't be used by someone else again.

Had to check around at all 3 EB's in the area.. had a pretty mixed experience as far as the B2G1 deal went.

EB #1: Didn't have anything I was looking for at all.
EB #2: Had both games I was looking for, but only one of them was used. Out of luck.
EB #3: Had another title I was looking for but some other lady had already grabbed it.

So in the end I didn't get anything I was hoping to get, but still picked up: SH2 Restless Dreams, Tony Hawk's Underground and Knights of the Old Republic with the store credit I had from some tradeins. Okay deal, I guess.

Do you guys think that I can trade in Dark Cloud GH (from the BB.com deal) for $10 towards the hot hit titles, namely Red Dead Revolver? Or is Dark Cloud one of the excluded titles.

I'm going for Red Dead Revolver for $19.99 by trading in F1 Career Challenge from CC. I'm curious as to why more people haven't gone after it... is it not a good deal or do most people already have it?
Yeah, I think I'll PM the OP and send him this link
Thanks suko_32 I added the list to the front page and organized it a little better. Also added a few new deals nothing special except the Trade 2 games towards X-men Legends, THUG2 or Call of Duty and get 20.00 credit.

thats a good deal, I bought Red Dead on the first day it came out. Great game, however after you beat the game its kind of dead unless you play the multiplayer. However thats how it is for a lot of games, but if you only have to spend 20 dollars then thats a steal. I had to pay 45 for it when I could've easily waited.

The "manager" must have decided not to come in on the weekend. ;) Most likely a case of the right-hand not knowing what the left-hand is doing.
