I think he just worded it weird. Usually eb flyers that look like that are trade 2 of the listed games and get certain new releases for 20 or 10 dollars.
 
^ well the list for the ps3 got better, ivebeen wanting to get rid of RSV, R1,BFBC and assasins creed. RSV has a trade value of 6, R1 and Assasins creed has $10...... apprently the T3G1F stopped from EB... so im thinking of getting rid of some of the titles.

Oooh, there are some really tempting games on there...
I'm tempted to see if 2/30 still works, grab Far Cry 3, trade in for big bucks at FS, and grab a copy of Ninja Gaiden Sigma so I can trade it in and keep my non-GH copy.

im still waiting for gamer to confirm if i get 50/40 bux towards a title, or do i just get 40/50 bux as a FEB promo. since im going to eb at like one....

Well, if the deal is trade 2 get a game for $20, that would mean you only get $40 for credit.
 
I'm about to go pick up Skate 2 today. So I can walk into GameStop with my crap-ass copy of SSX Blur for Wii and Skate for 360, and I get $50 credit towards Skate 2?

Can anyone confirm this? Sounds like an excellent deal since I'll never play the original Skate once I get the new one.

Dont quite get what you're asking but lets use an example...

COD WAW Wii is 59

Trade 2 games, they bump the trade value to $25 each and you get COD WAW for $9..

If it was trade in 2 for $50 credit like the misleading title, it would be a hot deal for some of those that qualify. But $50 towards an overpriced game that I still have to pay $20 cash for, when amazon has the upcoming preorders for $44 cash anyway,and some of those have been $30 or less before...its not too exciting.

People around deal sites now sure aren't like they used to be

Its like car dealers offerring "top dollar" for your trade if they think thats what you want to hear, then charging more for the new car then the next person. But people are happy beign able to talk about how much their old car was worth.

So many around who find it too much trouble to stick two stamps on and mail it for an online sale or trade, but they'll run around all over trying to buy/trade, only to end up paying more...then compalin what a ripoff eb etc are.
 
People may want to be careful with this deal too. I know that Twilight Princess gets $35 (as of about 5 days ago) and Mario Galaxy is advertised as having a $30 TIV on their other promo.

It's times like this that www.tivs.ca is a great tool for making sure you're not taken advantage of in your excitement to get a better bang for your old games.
 
you could probably get more than 25$ each for some of those games. i know local craigslist adds for fallout 3 on the 360 are all 40+.

And does EB pricematch? All these new 70$ games have made craigslist into my homepage
