Hey traders,

Please print this out and make sure EVERY associate signs it and then place it inside of their performance binders!

Today, ___/___/_____ , I ______________ ________________ , commit myself and my team to the Pre-Played Culture at EBGames.

Going forward, from this day on:

- I will address all customers that enter my store with the following greeting:

"Welcome to EBGames! Did you bring your trades?"

- I will make a point to talk about our Trade Program and the "EB STORY" during every customer's shopping experience.

- I will ask for Trades a second time, when concluding ALL sales, reminding customers that we take "Broken Systems".

- When a customer calls on the phone, it is my responsibility and commitment to work a Pre-Played Trade message into the phone greeting AND into the conversation that ensues.

i feel sad. any cag eb employees been subjected to this bullshit yet?
Wow, did my district manager write that?
Seriously... I mean, we're all cheapasses. Might as well abuse evil Best Buy's GGC? The only reason you should be going into eb/gs is either for pre-order crap or a rare game that they have. Everything else they have you can get somewhere else and usually for cheaper.
This is what I don't understand... tons of CAG's every day talk about buying games at EB / GS, and I just don't get why, espically since now we have a $10 coupon off any 29.99 game for another week or two =/

The only thing I can think of is maybe the poor souls have no Best Buy near them.

I'm in Chicago, and I don't think any of the 15 Best Buys around here carry a single Atlus PS2 game. Plus, I prefer not to buy brand-new titles. Thus, I shop at GS/EB more often.

Eh... my Best Buy is fine... not the greatest selection, but it has whatever newer and PC/GH/PH games you'd like. I believe its a result of the older demographic in my city (even though we're the closest BB to my alma mater, still not a high priority, I guess) And if I was going to buy games for 49.99 or even 29.99, I'd be all over coupons and what not. But I've basically vowed not to buy a game at MSRP, particularly a new release - to give you an idea, the average cost of the 50 GC games I own is around $14.

Now, if there was a $10 off games $19.99 and over... now that would be another story.

Also, there are lots of deals for trade-ins and stuff, like the "trade 5, get $5 more for each game" or "trade 5 games for zelda preorder." I have like $150 EB credit from stuff I bought for like $80-90, so that's like a 40+% discount off everything at EB.
