I'm sold on $10 Second Sight, for sure.

I'm also considering Lineage II Collector's, just for the awesome papercraft model it comes with.

$15 Harvest Moon would be good, also (though I wish I could get the plushie cow...).

Along with the question of do the CAGxx codes stack with B2G1, does the Edge card code work with that promo as well?
 
Edge card will, CAGxx is unlikely to.

I wish EBGames had *used* Second Sights for $9.99. There are two items I want to get (an e-reader and Batman Vengeance -- I'm fully prepared for it to suck, but I've always been very fond of the animated series and so have to give a try, especially for $6.66), but there's no third item to pick up for the Gamecube.

I guess I don't know. I hope so, because I'm not sure I could find three used Gamecube games I wanted at my two local EBs combined, much less three at the same price point (to take proper advantage of the deal), much less on Monday, because I'm unlikely to drive the half-hour into the city just to pick through those games.

It should be. It was B2G1F last time IIRC. It should be stackable with an EB Edge card too, for 10% off pre-coupon prices.

For the buy 2 get 1 free, do they have to be of similar price? Like if I buy a game used for 10 bucks and another for 10 bucks... does my third game have to be 10 bucks or lower?

Also, is this strictly in store? Thanks a bunch!

you always get the cheapest item free, or else people would buy like $5 games, and expect to get a preowned new release for free after?..

it is more wise to buy 3 games within a $10 price range, so you get the most out of your cash = small price gap.

Yeah you should be able to use your edge card along with the B2G1 Free, and is that Marvel vs. capcom 2 $17.99 the ps2 version? I thought EB had it priced for $49.99 used. Also for that Viewtiful Joe 2 for PS2 you should hold off because a lot of places have it for $19.99 new, not to mention I think K-mart or somewhere has the game for $9.99 new.
 
During one of the last B2G1F sales (Xmas/New Year), I had a ginormous stack of games. Of course I grouped them to get the most value from the freebies, but the manager was curious if we could do it all in one transaction instead of many smaller ones. Much to our surprise, the computer generously auto-magically grouped them for maximum savings. Just something to keep in mind for convenience.

And during the same sales period, they were running a 2 GH/PC/PH for $25 promo. Turns out the sale worked for pretty much anything regularly priced $20. I was pretty happy with that turn of luck. (Of course after all that spending, my wallet was aching.) Might want to experiment and see if you can work the same deal for this 2 for $30 deal.

Can you name one of these places that had VJ2 for $19.99 new? Also, K-Mart had the original for $9.99, not VJ2.
 
In case it has not been mentioned... you can put your ZIP CODE in @ www.ebgames.com and it will give you 'store inventory' on used games. You can figure out what stores to hit this way.

I'm going to pick up a handful... King Of Fighters 3D max and KOF Max Impact are 26.99 each... that is what I started with. I also might go crazy on older PS2 titles I missed - they have lots of decent titles for 7.99.

You have to fill out a little form and send in the reciept or something. Kinda like a rebate. I finally got a $20 from the Xmas/NYE sale 1.5 months later.

I don't know what it's like when you buy in the store, but I just got the $10 voucher for the $5 XIII for PC I bought online about a month ago. The best part is that it can be combined with SAVER, CAG15, etc. to make for some pretty good deals.
 
Something about the B2G1 free sale... you know what? With all of us trading in crappy games lately for the different promotions and extra $10 deals ---- ALL MY STORES HAVE IS CRAPPY GAMES!!! It's sad :(

Second Sight will probably still be $12.99 used (but $9.99 new) so I wouldn't use the B2G1F on it.

I went into EB today and felt ashamed at the stacks of ejay and primal that I helped contribute to.
 
Still confused as to what system to get Second Sight for. All the reviews I read give all systems the same score and says it depends on what controller you like the best. I think the PS2 controller is the best, but I really dont like the system that much, so I guess its really down to the X-Box and Gamecube. Any suggestions?

Not true, bascially they put em out as they get them. Often employees jump on them when they get used new realeses. The EB in Woodland, CA had a RE4 used two weeks ago.

That's true - I remember picking up a used Chaos Legion about 2 or 3 days after it released. EB employee said that some guy bought it & brought it right back because he said his wife got mad at him. :p

I've played both XBOX & PS2 and the XBOX version looks slightly better. I can't comment about the GC version, but the other two use the left stick button to look in first person so I don't know what the GC uses.

EDIT: Found out Y switches between free camera, fixed camera, and first person. That sounds awkward to me. I'd get the XBOX one.

I like both games a lot, but Psi-Ops is a superior choice. I wouldn't wait for Psi-Ops, I'd use the B2G1 on that if I didn't have it.
 
Is there any form of ad I can pick up in the store? I'd rather price match at BB with a GGC so I can pick up Silent Hill 4 for $15, if possible.
