I'm really not sure to tell you the truth, but I asked the employees and he said that it was 50% off all DC, PSone, N64, NES, and SNES games. I browsed their PSone section which usually doesn't have much and found Threads of Fate that way, brought it up, and it rung up as apart of the deal. I didn't ask any questions after that. They didn't have anything else turly good at that location other than a complete No One Can Stop Mr. Dominoe which I hada very difficult time tracking down and had to get at a Gamestop for $3.99. Mr. Domino was $1.99 by the way, so for roughly a $1.00 after tax it was mighty tempting.

The store didn't have anything else other than to mention of. Just the usual PSone games (the Crashes and Spyros, etc.).
 
Wow...checked out a local EB today and somebody had just last night traded in mint copies of Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, ans Secret of Mana. Of course I snatched them all up.

Also a funny story, at a local Gamestop, the employee was trying to help me find the mint/complete copies of Thousand Arms and Rhapsody that he traded in a few days ago, but somebody had bought them. He said he got $18 credit for Rhapsody...I didn't have the heart to tell him it was worth close to $90. :)
 
If only these rebates were instant...I'd so totally buy Capcom Fighting Evolution, along with a Street Fighter Anniversary joystick. >_< Instead, I'll probably have to wait like 4 months for my rebate.

I worded my last post poorly, though. I made it sound like I had been driving around all day checking EBs. It was actually the 4th EB I had checked since the sale started. My wife went to visit her sister in another state, and I had her check an EB there, and one other far from my house I had checked another day when I just happened to be there. The two more local EBs I checked were on different days.

I didn't have a flier to price match, just a printout from their website, showing the $14.99 price. I'm such a cheapass that I figured if I couldn't get it for $10, I wouldn't get it. Not that any of this really needed to be cleared up, but there it is anyway.
 
Just thought that I'd say that I checked my mail yesterday and lo and behold, it was the $20 gift voucher for buying The Getaway: Black Monday! (which I bought in-store for $20...the next day it jumped to $30.)

Now to see if I get the voucher for buying Capcom Fighting Evolution online...

Yeah, I like their parodies/mocking of other games... and the inventory system is handled so much better.

Too bad, it's just a 1-player experience.

i was told that eb wouldnt honor the rebate on the Capcom game by 2 people and then was told by another 3 people they would. It wasnt worth the risk. hope you get it
 
i got the email confirming the rebate for Black Monday that i brought in store. Nothing for CFE that I brought online.
 
Got my Black Friday rebate code (online $20) today!!! So Getaway was free.

This was a relief because I bought the game with a $20 code . . . (probably free Hot Shots Fore).

Now I need a game that is free after rebate to use this code on :)

Actually, I'll just drop it on a real order this time.
 
I got my rebate for Capcom Fighting Evolution today, a on-line code. I also got the rebate for Black Friday via in-store voucher.

Whoo Hoo!

I prefer the on-line codes more...

I got it in record time. Not even three weeks after I got the game. Spent it on Killer 7 for the Cube.
