EB greatest deal since the 54.99 Zelda

the b&m stores sell it for $29.99, but is that still to much? they sell nintendo 64s and dreamcasts for $14.99 pre-played which is pretty good.

I would say 30 would be a good price to pay. I personally have two but need a power supply for one (its in the attic somewhere along with my 4 score and a ton of carts, 5 years since I moved and I still cannot find the box, at this point I think it got lost in the move)

on a side note did anyone see what was 60 and above on the SNES side game wise. I think it had to be either Earthbound or Mega Man X3

Gamestop used to charge 40 for it, but we stopped takin them back. What's really a crap deal is that Supar Mario Bros/Duck Hunt is going for 2.99! How about .29 cents.

ya it is, thats why people will pay $60 for it. People want to remember their past. I did, thats why I still have mine hooked up!

I guess now people who traded in their NES miss the system are regretting it now and want the system again.

My friend traded in his NES in 1997 for $5 and 50 of his games for $2 each to buy the Playstation at $299. A month later it dropped to $199 but I can't belive how stupid he was to get $105 for something that must have cost at least $2000 total (figuring most games at the cheapest were $30 - $40 since he stopped buying NES games in the early 90's before the games were really cheap).

That is the exact reason i just bought a genesis and games from my past, i love re-living the good times (except Jurassic Park on the genesis, not as great as I remember, and i was much better at it when i was a kid.)
Is there an online store that I can order an NES for cheap?
honestly, your best bet is probably evilbay. Look for an auction ending at a weird time, like 2am, and make sure it comes with games. you would be surprised how little the nes bundles on ebay sell for, $30-$40 for a system + 5-10 games is about right(this doesnt include shipping but just tack on another $10-$15 for that)

last year there were a lot of BIN for like 30 bucks.

i was looking because I needed a new pin connector and also was looking for some more games

I have a top loader NES, but I want to get an old school one because I need it to hook up through A/V cables. But $60? Ha!
