Too bad I was unsuccessful at Futureshop 20-25$ off (instore pickups did not work), or I would have jumped on the trade3for1...

this is true, i don't think many Gamecube, PS2 or Xbox games would work like the last time EB did this
 
I am thinking of taking advantage of this and picking up a PSP. I have 10 games I am willing to trade in, some of them are not listed on the wiki or have not been updated in an extended period of time. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they know how many of the following games qualify.

Where did you find this info? Do they have a poster instore? Is it online? Im just making sure because tomorrow im gonna go trade in orange box, forza 2 and test drive for some money for brawl but now if this deal is for real I can get it for free.

Was gonna say Brawl was always on the list, but realized you're in the States. This is Canada only.

Might be a good idea to get a new DS, the L Button on mine is dead and the touch screen is wonky. >.<

But looking on my games it doesn't seem i have that many which'll get me a good deal. Anyone think they'll take the majority of these?

Thanks a bunch. Any tips on cheap games that should be safe bets to hit the 8 TIV mark?
 
Got 4 games I could do a trade in for a PSP. Now I just need 4 more. :\

Where did you find the "FREE GAME! (wipeout/parappa/socom tactics)" to go with Star Wars PSP bundle? I asked at my local EB and it was a no go on the free game. Is it something you need to get directly from Sony?

I guess they don't stack promos. If you buy a PSP you get a free game. If you trade for one you don't.

Traded in 5 games for a DS Lite yesterday. Wanted blue but had to settle for black.

My bad... I thought he meant the Daxter pack.

I was at EB on Friday and saw some signs behind the counter saying "get extra 10% of TIV." Could be their next promo.
 
these deals look really good but the problem is that the only games that I have that are worth more than 8$ tiv are the only ones I dont want to let go. now if only I can trade in all those games that I bought for 15$ or less (e.g. eragon for 5$)...

Uh, not really. I just saw the signs: get an extra 10% when trading in games. I didn't ask about them.
 
Oh, I almost forgot. I remember back in January EB had a coupon book where one of the coupons was to get a free GoW figurine or something. Does the coupon apply this month? I don't know cause I can't find the damn coupon.

Yeah I still have that flyer. Has anyone gotten the GoW figurine? The extra 25% in TIV coupon is useful as well.
