I see they are having this deal now untill 10/2 and I was wondering is the 10 extra going on to each game or the total? Thanks

THink trade 3 get 10 Trade 4 get 15 Trade 5 get 20

Try to get someone who is cool who works there cause you really need boxes and books to get the extra vaule but the 10 games i turned in had no boxes and i still go the extra 40. ANd i turned in pure junk Madden 2002, nhl qb club 2002 and mlb baseball 2003

That's not what I was asking[/quote]

If you trade in 3, you get an extra $10 total, not an extra $10 per game. If you trade in 4, you get an extra $15 total, not an extra $15 per game. If you trade in 5, you get an extra $20 total, not an extra $20 per game. That is the current trade-in deal at EB that I know about.

It's really a hell of a deal. I traded in ESPN NFL 2k5 (which came free with xbox live), 3 jampacks (1 cent a piece at CC), and Sega GT 2002 ($2.99 at Gamestop). For $3.20 I got $36.50 in credit. :D

Real doubtful they'll take Jampacks since those are demos and always excluded in trade ins. Got a receipt or something to prove it?

The More you Trade, the More You're Paid - $10 bonus trade-in Expires 10/2/2004
Trade-in 3 select pre-played PS2/XB/GC games and receive $10.00 dollars bonus trade-in value for all three games. Boxes and Instructions are required. Extra value must be applied to purchases made in the same transaction. No cash or credit will be issued. No exclusions apply. Demo discs are not valid for trade-in. Trade-in games must have different titles.Customer may be responsible for sales tax in some states. Not valid at EBGames.com. Boxes and instructions are required. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. See sales associate for details.

Well since it says no exclusions, you might be able to trade in Jampacks (cause they are listed on the exclusion list as games and not considered demos I guess) , but it also says the games must be different titles. Perhaps YMMV as to whether they'll let you use multiple Jampacks. People should try and report back here cause I'd love to trade in 15 Jampacks for Donkey Konga :whistle2:D

If someone could go and confirm they take Jampacks tomorrow, it would be awesome :whistle2:D I would but I don't get off work till 8PM PST but I might be able to go between classes around noonish. Someone go do it for the team!

I'm sorry, I don't have a scanner or anything so I can't scan the recipt, but I really did get the extra credit. The guy didn't think they worked, but scanned them to check, and it went through the computer. I don't know if it'll work at other EB's or even with other employees, but it worked for me.

okay i got a question, u gave them Nfl 2005, 3 jampacks and Sega GT and they gave u 32.50.... Im lost here. how much did they give you for each item cause its not adding up.

Say 25 cents per jampack and the sega gt game that be a buck. THey are really giving 12 bucks trade in for a 20 buck game WOW

Sega GT gets three, I think. NFL 2005 probably gets at least seven. The jampacks were probably 75 cents. That adds out.

You really need to learn your math.

I just traded in 12 games the other day. They weren't really in-demand games, so the trade without the bonus would have been like 33 bucks [!]. With bonus, 78. Not too bad, I paid about 100 for them all, so 22$ is less than 4 rentals from BB. But some of the games i traded in, they're selling for 5.99-9.99, so that's not too much markup.
At first he had me getting 40 bucks extra credit, but then I said 'can you ring them up as 3 sets of 4' thus getting me 45 dollars credit. After a minute of thinking, he did.
And on mine receipt also, each game had a bonus added to it, and it wasn't broken down as to original value/bonus value.

Yeah, Jampacks are fine. They give you pretty much nothing in credit, but they're still scannable, and in the computer. You won't be able to trade in more than 1 copy of each kind though. Better hurry, Saturday 10/02 is the last day you can do this.
