Hey I recently took advantage of EB's B2G1 Free deal on POX games. The copies of Ratchet and Clank and Super Mario Sunshine did not come with instructions. Now the Super Mario Sunshine disk is pretty badly scratched up so I could probubly return it however R&C is practially mint. I thought it was EB policy to sell preowned games w/ case and instructions? What would you guys do in this situation?

I'd email or call their customer service asap about the missing manuals, but I'd just return SM Sunshine to a B&M store, most have PO copies of that game.

If you bought them B&M, you should've seen that it didn't come with instructions. Make it a habit to always check the games before you leave the store. I'd try to return Mario Sunshine, since it is scratched up badly. They probably won't accept R&C back unless you intend to trade it in.
only online are case and instructions promised...b&m its as is.
Good point i just figured he was speaking about buying online.

sounds like your outta luck but there is a site that sells manuals for liek 3 dollars, I forgot waht the sites name is though.

Ah alright. I was not aware that manuals / cases were only guaranteed over online purchases thanks for clearing this up. Also if anyone could shine some light on this site that sells the game manuals I'd greatly appriciate it.

This happened to me last time during the buy2 get 1 free sale. I bought a sly cooper with no manual. Went back the next day, showed them the reciept and they told me i could just take one out of another preowned. Guess YMMV depending on the clerk, but worth a try.

you should be able to tell by the weight of the case and if you feel anything moving the slighest bit..even so i always check to make sure i get the case/instructions that are in good shape

The guy that runs the site actually went to my college. This site is very good. I've ordered manuals from them probably five times, and everytime it was cake.

I bought a pre-owned TimeSplitters 2 from a local EB Games store for Xbox earlier, and it didn't come with manual. They did have 2 copies of it the previous day though, and I remember one had a manual, but someone bought that copy already. I had thought though that if the game doesn't come with a manual, that on the front, they would have a sticker labeled "Games may not come with Instructions Manual", or something like that. I thought that the cashier gets the manual out from the desk when he gets out the cd, heh.

Yea the gamerecyclery guy is cool. If they dont have what you want, he'll personally email you when its in stock. He's pretty good at requests too.
