Ok guys, so I've had a pretty flawless run with eBay in the past year, racking up 71 positive feedbacks and 0 negatives and being known as an honest seller and fast shipper. Well, I've hit a snag. I shipped this package out a while ago, and yesterday got a msg from the buyer saying he's wondering where it is:

So obviously, it left my house in Michigan just fine, and traveled all the way to Cali for a few days. But then it goes missing. What are we to do in this situation? He left me a negative feedback for "Very slow" but obviously this is out of my hands.

Call usps tell them of the status of the package. They'll do trace of the package and get back to you in a day or two.

This has happened to me a couple of times now. It seems that for whatever reason usps will simply misplace a package and it will be stuck in limbo until you make them aware of it.

Hopefuly they'll find and deliver it. Upon delivery you should do a feedback revision request. Here's a link http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ReviseFeedbackInitiate

i've sold countless items on ebay and am a fast shipper. once though, i shipped a couple packages on the same day and all of them said delivered except for 1. the status didn't change for more than 5 days and buyer said he thinks it is lost and wants his money back. i told him to wait a few days and eventually it got delivered to him after 10-12 days. he was happy and so was i for something out of my control.

USPS tracking leaves a lot to be desired. But, yeah, like another CAG member said, I'd call up the Post Office, and find out what's going on.
