eBay Memory Stick Pro Duos?

How long have you had it? I'm worried they might crap out after a while.

I haven't had it for very long, maybe two weeks or so. The person I bought it from is located in the US so it made me feel a little better about it than buying it from Hong Kong or somewhere like that.

Same here, I've had mine for about 6 months and haven't had a lick of issues with it. I've copied many large files to and from it (WMAs, Converted Movies, Demo Downloads, pictures, etc) and at this point it has worked flawlessly.

I bought one a couple of weeks back that might be a fake. It is a 2GB Sony that came with an adapter. There was a word spelled wrong on the package, but otherwise there is no way to tell for sure. It works absolutely perfect though and for $17.95 for a 2GB card I really can't complain.

I just bought a 4GB one off e-bay for $46 plus shipping and it looked legit to me. Works fine. Honestly for that price, that's all I really care about.

The seller ID was "encoreunlimited" for what its worth.

I decided to look him up, christ he has auctions for 4 gb pro duos ending every 20 minutes. Since the place accepts returns I figured what the hell, paid 51 dollars shipped for one.

I just got a Pro Duo from Amazon: SanDisk Pro Duo 4GB $66.10. Although, I used my AMEX coupon to get 25% off. Still at $89 it seemed like a good deal for not having to deal with the bay.

i bought a 1gb duo on ebay a several months back when 2gb were still going for $60. right when i recieved it i already knew it was fake because how the packaged was sealed. however it works just fine but recently it randomly craps out on me I.E. errors transfering large files, computer not detecting the card, data magically all becomes corrupted. i won't be going to ebay for memory cards anytime soon

i bought a 4GB on eBay for $85 when they were around $200. it seemed real from the eBay page but when it got here, it was a fake. it had all Sony branded packaging and even a Sony branded adaptor but the stick itself had no branding at all. it wouldnt have been so bad if it had worked, but neither my laptop or PSP could recognize that it was inserted. needless to say i was worried about my money but they quickly refunded it to my card after an email. so i ended up looking up a rebate/sale offer on this site and got it for $85 from Fryes.com.

but basically, if it looks too good to be true then it probably is. i would just say watch this site and search the forums. youll make out just fine like that. thank you CheapAssGamer.com! lol
