I think it has more to the fact that it has a 17 year old girl exposing herself.
In their email they said nothing about any 17 year old girl exposing her self. I bought them at Blockbuster so if you want to travel some moral high ground write them a letter. I am not the only person that has sold that game in the world, I didn't video tape that girl, and I didn't produce the game.
So, what your saying is that If i came upon a bag of cocaine, and I didn't make it, I can sell it without any trouble?
However, if i do for some reason get caught, I can just say: I'm not the only one selling it!
Ebay does have some policies, there is NOTHING different between selling a dvd of child pornography on ebay and selling the guy game on ebay. You being banned was 100% legit and if anyone lift the ban due to an e-mail or letter, they are idiots.
Do you have trouble reading??? I am not complaing at all about being suspended. I understand why they did it. I was asking if anyone knew the standard time frame. And don't give me that child pornography bull shit. I BOUGHT IT FROM GAME RUSH THE SAME DAY EBAY CANCELED MY AUCTION. I didn't buy any coke from blockbuster but if they could sell it i should be able too also. You are a moron.
Touché sir, however there was a story going around about all the auctions being canceled like a month ago for that game, and also, I don't really feel like getting involved in any drama today, so uhh... to add to the orginal question you asked:
* eBay will consider the circumstances of an alleged policy violation and the user's trading record before taking action.
* Disciplinary action may result in a formal warning, temporary sanction, or indefinite suspension.
* If a complaint can't be proven with certainty, we may take no action.
* Due to privacy issues, it's not possible for eBay to discuss the results of an investigation.
* Posts made in eBay’s Want It Now area must also comply with eBay policies. For more information, see the Want It Now Policies page.
So in short terms, you'd need to find out from ebay yourself for what your timeframe would be, considering they don't seem to have a "set" one, only Perma-bans and temp-bans.
