EBgames.com's quick and dirty $10 deals...what do you think of them?

If I was paying attention, I would probably get in on a few. Though Wario World is the only one I see worth my time so far.
 
I think its kind of half and half (3rd answer). They can be a very great thing (me having 2 games in my cart ready to order) then it makes you want to cry (noticing the games sold out when its in ur cart about to get past the final step of checkout, which happened in my case). Lets just hope they have then again tomorrow around this time, and I might change my answer.
 
I've missed out on these deals every day thus far. I still think it's a good deal for everyone. It will be a great deal once I actually get an order for Wario World in.
 
I love 'em, but then I hate 'em cause I find myself checking this site too much!! But then I love 'em when I get my games, but then I hate 'm cause I spent more money!!

Damn! I can't decide....I LOVE 'EM!!!
 
I'm just going to stop taking lunches. This is the second day in a row that I've come back from lunch to find out that I missed the deal again. I'm on this site constantly between 8 and 5, hell it's even my homepage, but I keep missing the goodies.

I was just going to say the same thing.

I can't believe 3 times in a row, I havent been able to score 1 freaking game.
 
I already had Megaman and WW before this (Paid $40 for each :/) but I didn't have 1080. I ordered mine when it was $20, and I'm glad I did... for my own mental sanity, I'm glad that I've missed the $10 games since I already own them. Otherwise, I would get really pissed off for missing them.

Oh, and maybe someone here knows this... with the EB gift voucher, do you have to cut out the game's UPCs? Because it syas you have to send in "original proof of purchase (UPC code) from the boxes".
 
well...it's nice to see that there are some good gaming deals to be found out there. rather then constantly getting taken advantage of we are kinda sticking it to the man on cheap deals like this.

On the other hand having a deal like the mega man/wario deal coming and going and screwing over so many people who want to be apart of it isn't very good. Maybe if eb games did something where every week maybe for half an hour they had 5 10 dollar games and made a promotion out of it it would be better.

I got mega man so i'm pretty happy :p
 
I'm a little peeved because my $9.99 "new" copy of Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits came today, and it's obviously a resealed used copy (it had the bogus shrink wrap and the factory seal was ripped). The only reason I'm not returning it is because it's in excellent condition.

When it comes to Gift Vouchers, I just send in the receipt. Only cause it has the UPC number on it.
 
First I miss out on Wario and FX as they are taken right out of my cart. Then I go to Circuit City to pick up Halo for $9.99 and they are sold out. These pissy "we have 3 copies then they are gone" deals really tick me off. :(

My CC didn't have PC Halo either buy my local BB price matched....i was very happy
 
NCAA Football 2004 should have been $10 months ago. The new one comes out in mid-July, even $10 is too much to spend on a new copy of last year's game now.
