EBgames drops price of NHL 2k6 to $20

Anyone else know of any rule changes other than that they no longer have the two line pass. I wonder if hockey is becoming more like "international hockey" but on smaller rinks.
Thanks for ripping ANOTHER story from CAG without giving credit, GameSpot:

They did the same fucking thing last year when we discovered the price drop!

I posted a complaint on their forums: http://forums.gamespot.com/gamespot/show_messages.php?board=314159266&topic=22764584&message=247627378#M247627378
I'm not sure that your complaint will really work in the "General Games Discussion" part. Some of the mods there get really angry and lock threads that aren't specifically talking about games. It'll probably be locked soon, without any gamespot editors actually looking at it.
Edit - Nevermind, I see at least one of them (Adam B) responded.

Just a little FYI, your thread would probably be better received here.

It may be a coincidence or it may not be. They seemed ignorant of this site and its principles. You certainly had the scoop.

Although it was mentioned before in another thread, I think I deserve credit for bringing up the Walmart price.

JK, Cheapy! You rock.
Here are all the rule changes for those who asked.

http://www.nhl.com/nhlhq/cba/rules_changes072205.html
Thanks for the link. I was blissfully unaware of such changes.

It looks like to me they're trying to encourage high-scoring all-out offensive matches. It also seems that they are trying to encourage players to play cleaner, but in doing so they might disrupt the flow of the game with more penalties called.

Also the tag-up rule seems a bit ambiguous to me. What if you make contact with another player while trying to tag-up? Will you be called on it away from the puck?

I can't believe Cheapy was treated like that on GameSpot. They don't know what they're missing here.

As far as this game is concerned, I'm thinking about pre-ordering it, but I think it might be on sale during release week for $14.99. A lot of the 2K5 games were last year.

As far as the new rules are concerned, I love that after scoreless overtimes a shootout will occur. Who wants ties anyways? Those shootouts will be thrilling both in real life and in the game.

Looks like the rosters are going to be pretty up to date. They have Roenick with the Kings already.
