FAQ:
How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

The bottle looks like this:

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 7:30am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?

Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

Crappy update, but thanks for the FMA2. I have been looking for that for a while, and to get it complete for under $11 shipped, well, not gonna beat that anywhere.

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/257326.asp
29.99 b/c

Strange... I cancelled my controller extension cables yesterday along with Luigi's Mansion... Luigi's Mansion showed up, the cables did not. I have a feeling they probably held up my order as a result of overselling that item, not a mysterious credit card problem.
I might jump on the XBOX version, it's $1.00 cheaper:

Is there a difference between the two (or 3 if you look at the PS2)?
From the Gamespot review:

One of the best things about Sphinx is how much each version of the game feels like it belongs on its respective system, rather than simply being a quick and cheap port. All three versions look and play great, and no version shows any real sign of weakness over the other three. If a best version of the three had to be picked, the GameCube version seems to be the strongest overall. Although the Xbox version does look just a bit crisper, the GameCube version matches up in practically every visual capacity, and some of the more minor visual effects actually look a little better on the GameCube. Additionally, the GameCube controller seems to work the best with Sphinx's control scheme, since it's heavily based on the Legend of Zelda item-equipping system, where you assign various weapons and items to whichever button you please. This is not to say that this scheme doesn't work with the PS2 and Xbox iterations, but it just feels a little more natural on the GameCube.

I would agree with that after about a half hour of playing the GC version last night. Controls are good, visuals look great (one of the few games where the gameplay graphics don't drop off too sharply from the in-game cinematics).
I was just thinking - it Seems to me like DS games are perfect to buy preowned. They come complete and there are no disks to arrive scratched.
Yeah. I've gotten Phoenix Wright and Castlevania used, basically mint condition (one from GS, one from GR). The only problem I've seen is that GR/Blockbuster either use their own cases for the DS games, or they just mess with them somehow. A number of the used games I've seen there have covers that are very wavy/bubbly, almost like wet paper, but they might just be scrunched into a case.

I just bought Dino Crisis it was only $1.83 after SAVER and CAG15 I also took advantage of the $3.99 price for Time Crisis a couple of days ago good thing because it is no longer in stock. Thanks again CAG.

I bought Dino Crisis (PO), Mario & Luigi: PiT (DS, PO), and Radiata Stories (new) all for $58 shipped after tax. Woot.

Eh... How's the PS1 SFA 3 compared to the Dreamcast version? Does it have Deejay, et al? How does it play? I've got the SF anniversary controller for the PS2 so I'd imagine that would work, I just hate dragging the DC out to play this game.

The truth is, I only have Street Fighter Alpha 3 on the Dreamcast and I have never played the PSX version. I heard very good things about both versions though, and while most people prefer the DC version, the PSX version cant be all that much worse.

Oh, and I went ahead and updated the link in my profile instead of waiting 'till the weekend.

Today I got Ehrgeiz Complete (Manual in great shape...CD has Hollywood video sticker and label on it but no scratches and it wasn't resurfaced) and Marvel Super Heroes (Disk Only). I'm hoping to return MSH to a local store that has it complete and exchange it. For some reason, my PS2 doesn't play resurfaced CD's.

Most people actually prefer the PSX version since it's a direct arcade conversion. The DC version has larger pixels and different hit boxes, so it's not arcade perfect.
http://www.gaming-age.com/news/2006/1/24-43 might wnt to wait for this if you're considering Alpha 3
I would take that news with a grain of salt since they just released Alpha 3 for PSP a few days ago, and it's set to release in the US in February.

I grovel in awe of your intense geektitude.
got Saga Frontier 2, Rival Schools, and Power Stone 2 today.
Power Stone 2 came complete, rest were disc only.
Power Stone 2 complete makes the disappointment of disk only a little better to deal with. Nice Find!
No update yet, but I have never seen this before...Any ideas?

I've never heard of it before either, but here's what I found:

A budget release from Agetec, this puzzler (also known to some as Tic Tac Chicken) challenges gamers to create a safe path for a lost baby chick so he can return home. Slide and spin the tile pieces to form his walkway, but you're going to have to think quick -- the tiles are floating on water and the little guy isn't a good swimmer!

Strange. The picture shows Preowned, but the only one available is listed as New.

I actually had some good luck with my orders. I received Kagero: Deception 2, Deception 3, Um Jammer Lammy, and Codename: Tenka all complete in the mail earlier today(yesterday whatever). I did however receive a hooribly smashed and non-working copy of In Cold Blood.

Here's hoping for more good luck.

Yea, Suikoden 2 is up to $59.99 now. There were EIGHT of them instock this morning, of course, they were gone within a few minutes.

I hope these arent the same ones we all returned because they were disk only...

Man, I wouldn't mind getting Azure Dreams, but 12.99 b/c? Ehhh. ANYWAY, motherfucking score for me - Thunder Force V, Raycrisis, and Phoenix Wright. Booyah! Also, my first Thunderforce V order I accidentally put the wrong CC info (my name but my gf's card number), so I'm canceling that so a copy of that should show up tommorrow.

They had an insane amount of things in stock today, tons of SNES and PS1 games... I picked up Power Stone 2 and a 99 cent PS2 component cable.

i picked up
king's field 2 $2.99 b/c
south park $9.99 b/c
south park chef's luv shack $2.99 b/c
wild arms alter code f $34.99 b/c

$39.60 shipped

wild arms alter code f still has 5 in stock
