How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 8am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.t

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

How do I find links to games that are currently out of stock?
Use the following Google link and replace "gameyouwantgoeshere" with the name of the game you are searching for. [thanks radjago]

By the way, in the future I don't think we need to be locking these threads at 500 anymore.
That was for the benefit of the old forum software. I dont think vB has a problem with large threads.

Maybe a new thread monthly?

Changed the FAQ to reflect the update time more accurately... for the rare occasions when someone actually reads the OP.
 
One other thing...
If you aren't already, you guys may want to check the CAG-O-Matic at around 9am (that's when it's updated).
Items that are displayed with no price adjustment are back in stock or newly listed.

No, don't. It's a 3rd party seller.. Crescent Marketing, Inc... It's just someone that GQD sold some copies to. You can get it cheaper from another 3rd party seller if you really want on that same page.
 
Just got my Tekken 5 arcade stick bundle...the game and collectors case are still factory sealed, whoever traded it in bought it just to use the arcade stick. I'm fixing to test it out and see how it works.
 
Hey, the whammy stick, is it supposed to come attached permanetaly to the guitar? Or is it supposed to be loose?

If you plan on playing this game a lot, and playing it right, you should get one that works. For me, on the higher levels of difficulty, I really love to work that whammy bar fast and furious. Much like the way I work Rozz's mother. What a coincidence....;)

I guess I'll get another one on the morning updates and hope I get lucky, while returning this bundle.

I got my Guitar Hero in today. It came complete. The disc has a few scuff marks on it. I hope I can get them out. The stickers were already placed on the guitar too.

On a side note, I scored a mint/complete copy of Power Stone today for $7 and some change. Also got REmake guide for $6 and change.
 
Alright, I got most of the scuff marks off. Some are barely visible so the disc should be fine. I'll test it out later.

Can moderators delete individual messages from a thread? Say, every few days or so, go through and delete messages that have little to nothing to do with the Morning Update. I wouldn't suggest deleting them right away or restricting them, because, quite simply, that's a part of the charm of the morning update thread... But the "tag" messages and such - give 'em three or four days then nix 'em. Just a thought.

I want that, but the mic would be nice... though I'll eventually have a second when I get Odama. I think I can wait.
 
Got my copy of Time Crisis: Crisis Zone with Guncon today. Looks to be in fantastic shape, haven't played it yet, but damn I'm excited! Hooray for the morning updates :)

although I'm kinda upset they shipped it Media Mail since it has the GunCon with it :roll:
 
BTW I got in my Guitar Heroes and it came in pretty crappy conditions

oh well, can't complain, I did get it $50 less than what I would have payed for.
