How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 8am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.t

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

How do I find links to games that are currently out of stock?
Use the following Google link and replace "gameyouwantgoeshere" with the name of the game you are searching for. [thanks radjago]

I gave in to nostalgia for once... picked up the only Xenophobe for $2.50. Worth it for a crappy game that my late friend and I spent hours playing on weekends back in the day.

They'll match if you add it to cart. Sometimes the item page isn't sync'd with the search/cart view.

Once you add them to your cart there price changes.

Okay Xenophobe is 2.99 in the list but changes to 4.99 on the item screen, then drops back down to 2.99 in my cart. What the hell is going on with that site?
 
Is anyone's NES section being wierd to them? Games seem to be coming in and out. Oh, and there has been a major price drop on all NES games. I picked up Captain Skyhawk for $.99 down from $4.99.

Everything on that site is being weird to me this morning. You got lucky with Captain Skyhawk, it's back to 4.99 in cart and out (at least for me, maybe in 5 minutes it will change).

Yeah, it seems like it re-updated and the prices went back to normal.
 
Woa, i guess the NES section was a price misupdate. Everything is back up to $4.99. Samething happened for the Genesis section. I was able to pick up Eternal Champions for 2 bucks, now back up to 5.

I saw it at 99 cents earlier when I checked after botticus commented on the dead NES section. There were also only 19 games then and now there's 20. Oh Xenophobe is up to 4.99, as is every single NES game.

Time Crissi 3 Bundle

I'm talking about this one. It's $30 so I don't know which oen you're talking about that's $13Ac. But I'bve seen the Time Crisis 3 Bundle in CC and that comes with two Guncons for $55. SO I was wondering if this was that bundle and if it came with the guncons.

For around $24 it wouldn't be bad to get the game and two guncons.

Yeah, it had been sitting there while I was refreshing. I just pulled it out, searched on it and re-added. I'm showing 1 in stock when I try to add 99.

yeah, I noticed the reupdate (10 minutes after update, I went to the genesis page after seeing sonic for only 1.99 on my wishlist...and there was 1 item! freaked me out. upon refresh, zero items, then 60 items. so, obvious reupdate.). But the one game I wanted to come back in stock didn't! grrr.
 
i thought today was a bad update until the 2nd update reappear.I pick up mario double dash,classic nes series mario gba and 2 classic donkey kong.

Either that or you'll get back ordered ;) It happened to me about 2 months agos when they re-updated and something came back in stock that someone else must have ordered the last of before they re-updated.

I saw the numbers go down and back up about 5 times this morning with some games going down in price and staying down the first about 3 times I think they must have had a substitute update guy as someone else mentioned before the update that couldn't get the prices to level out at the end of the update like they usually do ;) I ended up getting Jungle Book on SNES, a used DC VMU and Wizards and Warriors X: Fortress of Fear for GB all for $3 before things went back to normal.

FYI: Fairly reliable word from someone at EB is saying that the site's been weird because they're beginning some of the backend integration there....the updates might be going soon.

Based on the fact that EB and GS will apparently be using a new POS, I wouldn't be surprised if they use a totally different online system as well, not one or the other. That being said, how does GameStop.com update stock online if not at some scheduled point in time?

EB hates me... I never get orders shipped in less than a day anymore. Both of mine are on hold as usual.
