How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 8am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.t

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

How do I find links to games that are currently out of stock?
Use the following Google link and replace "gameyouwantgoeshere" with the name of the game you are searching for. [thanks radjago]

I have all these "cheap" games on my wishlist for use as shipping fodder...but none of them are cheap anymore! 1.99 to 3.99, 3.99 to 5.99, 5.99 to 9.99... These are old unfamous games and it sucks they're raising the rates so much.

ironically, I need some cheap shipping fodder today to get free shipping on an accessory, and now I can't find anything.

Got my second attempt at a Guitar Hero yesterday. It looked perfect, but when I plug it in the controller isn't recognized at all. The Eb guy sounded really suspicious when I called, and wondered why I had ordered it a second time.


Grrr.

ESPN NFL 2K5 for Xbox is still 3.99 (2.99 after coupon). They have 6 left to use as shipping fodder. Damn good football game too.

When did you order? My Kingdom Hearts: CoM is still open from yesterday morning while Xenophobe already shipped... I'll probably email them about it, but it's nothing that hasn't happened before. Occasionally my Thursday orders haven't shipped till Monday.
 
My order from yesterday is still open, too. They'd been shipping same day for quite a while now. I wonder if the integration is causing issues.

Lucky bastard. My Kingdom Hearts shipped out just now, so that makes both morning orders from yesterday shipped. I can't recall the last time one of my orders shipped the same day.

I'm the same way, except switch out Zelda for Front Mission 3 and 2 1/2 weeks to 1/18. :rofl:
 
Is the e-Reader compatable with the Nintendo DS? Because I never touch my original GBA and I sold my SP to get some money to buy a DS. So, what I'm trying to say is.... is it compatable with the DS?

My Front Mission 3 backorder dates to 1/4 . . .

BTW I was bummed that I missed out on the Xbox Wireless G adapter from a week ago but I happed to see one instore today (wasn't even looking for it).

Its complete in box and was $17.99 before Edge discount! Sticker underneath says $69.99 (used price before price drop).

Zone of The Enders The 2nd Runner is now $7.99 at EB GAMES. They have it the same price as the first one but the price sticker says it is #2, so it looks like the real deal and not a mistake. NOt sure though.

i traded for TC 3 and CZ from the gamecrazy sale. wtf is up with the tiny ass screen on co-op? btw, i've only played it co-op, haven't yet tried single player. anyway, damned tiny screens make it hard to aim. i mean the screens are half the height they could be.

It looked like it had been fucked by their sticker machine. 4 or 5 price tags on the front, 4 or 5 UPCs on the back and another UPC square in the middle of the front for good measure, along with the usual "Trade Games and Save" sticker on the bottom and the "Ask How to Save 10%" just above it. And the booklet and case reeked like smoke.

I guess that's what I get for buying used from EB.

I got my copy the other day,and it reminds me of the last "new" copy you get of a game in store. The case is a little rough on the side you open and the center of the disc is a bit worn, but other than that, its great.
 
Got Time Crisis: Crisis Zone and RE4:pE today.

TC:CZ was complete, with the box, and in great condition.

RE4:pE was missing the Cell, but otherwise complete and in great condition. Now sure what I'm going to do about the cell though...

It probably went OOS before the re-update then came back not acounting for it just going OOS before re-updating putting you on back order since you were able to get an order though.

Alright, cool. That's what I wanted to know.
 
I got my Novastorm in at home today. I'm glad the game only cost around $1.20 since the thing was pretty much obliterated, from what my brother tells me (I'm at school at the moment). Apparently there's not much left intact as far as the jewel case goes and the disk itself is in the same, poor, unintact state.

Here's hoping that it was just a USPS fluke rather than anything else. I'm just glad it was for a fairly mediocre to crap title for cheap rather than something like a Suikoden.
