FAQ:
How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

The bottle looks like this:

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 8am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.t

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

How do I find links to games that are currently out of stock?
Use the following Google link and replace "gameyouwantgoeshere" with the name of the game you are searching for. [thanks radjago]

Im not religious, but Ive pretty much given up buying games for the time being, both to save money and to try and catch up with my huge backlog.

But the funny part is that I havent stopped shopping for games... if I go to any website that I normally visit, I have games sitting in my cart, I just never pull the trigger and buy them. Toys R Us, Amazon, Target, Walmart, EB, GS, etc... I have games in my cart at every one of those places and more! lol

oh and yes, GQD does indeed suck. in fact, the one decently priced one that Gamestop got, Saiyuki, which i bought during B2G1 free for $20, appeared in an eb for $6! an original copy as well, though granted it wasn't in new condition like the reprints. i think most games they've reprinted with the exception of the Gamecube reprints and Rhapsody i already had. Persona 2, Rez, Gitaroo man, what else did they reprint. Nocturne or Disgaea, or was that atlus? anyway, it's a sound business strategy with regards to profit, but to the collector? fuck

seriously, there's been a Phoenix Wright in every single eb and gamestop across town here. well one eb had a used copy, and another had at least 3 new copies, and every gamestop i've been by has had a display copy of phoenix wright. i think i'm the only one in town who's even got a copy of it. i mean i've sold a copy and traded two or three, and there's still two new ones left at one eb.

I had to have a GS 75 miles away ship one to a store here so I could get a decent price on it. I didn't want to pay $60 for it, but I was willing to part w/ $20 for a used complete copy.

speaking of christian and specifically catholic traditions, i saw a chick come into stats lab the other day with some black crud on her forehead. i wanted to say something, but i didn't want to be rude and i assumed she knew it was there. i though maybe she burnt herself or something. it wasn't until later that i found out that's what catholics do on ash wednesday.

Well, I thought with the announce of God of War and Gran Turismo 4 price drops, that there might be used price drops today. I was right. Both 13.50 a/c. Get em before they are RED.

I picked up God of War but passed on Gran Turismo 4 because I'm STILL pissed about the fact that they delayed it like 2 years and then had the gall to take out online multiplayer. I'll not buy another GT game until there is online multiplayer.

LOL...no actually I DID lol...I'm not just saying that. I just use the excuse that the money I spend on games keeps me from going out to the bars and spending it on alcohol. Of course, I still go out occasionally and if I actually spent this much money on alcohol I'd be dead already from liver cancer. I HATE YOU CAG (in a loving sort of way)

Does anyone think that we may have serious issues? I mean there has to be some medical term used to describe this, other than OCD! I can tell you right now what is going to happen...I'll get the shipment in the mail, my wife will throw it at me and yell, all in one fell swoop. She'll then proceed to remind me of the 1,000+ other games I have that I could be playing, paying special attention to the 100's that are still in shrinkwrap, instead of buying more 'toys'. This is where she will break off on a tanget of all my Star Wars 'DOLLS' that I've collected since 1985, sitting in bankers boxes, and how they are taking up space. And that when I die, my kids will just throw them away anyway. I will then interject with my master plan for retirement, and how I am going to open up a Star Wars 'ACTION FIGURE' and Video Game shop, at which point she just laughs in my face and walks away in frusteration. I then will open up the package, inspect it, and stick it on the shelf till God knows when. When all is said and done, and by that I mean the Cooking, cleaning, laundry that I have to do to appease my 14.33 'investment', I will spend the rest of the evening listening to my wife about where she wants to go on vacation...

Wait till she sees my Circuit City Order...
