FAQ:
How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

The bottle looks like this:

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 8am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.t

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

How do I find links to games that are currently out of stock?
Use the following Google link and replace "gameyouwantgoeshere" with the name of the game you are searching for. [thanks radjago]
SAVER doesn't work for 1st gen GB games?
Not on just original GB carts no, it never has. It's some weird bug. Add a non GB game as well and it works.
Well, I thought with the announce of God of War and Gran Turismo 4 price drops, that there might be used price drops today. I was right. Both 13.50 a/c. Get em before they are RED.

I picked up God of War but passed on Gran Turismo 4 because I'm STILL pissed about the fact that they delayed it like 2 years and then had the gall to take out online multiplayer. I'll not buy another GT game until there is online multiplayer.

Oh yea...there was the wireless xbox adapter for 13.50 a/c too.

(my wallet hates this....i should give it up for lent, even though im not catholic)

1 Wireless-G Adapter for Xbox $17.99 $17.99
1 God of War - Pre-Played $17.99 $17.99
Total Discount -$9.00
Subtotal $26.98
Handling $2.49
might i ask why you paid for shipping?
Probably the same reason you forgot to remove your address yesterday. He was rushing.

By the way, you came *this* close to getting stuck with a fuck (shaq-fu) cartridge. There's one at a local gamerush I've been dying to do something with.

Wario Land 3 (GBC) - $4.99 b/c - GONE
Great game, the Wario Land titles seem to go OoS pretty quick, so grab this one while you can!
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/176947.asp

Official Memory Pak (N64) - $1.99 b/c - GONE
Not too many games use this, but for a mere $1.99, if you've got a N64, you might as well grab one.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/224554.asp

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (GCN) - $39.99 - GONE
As with 2, way overpriced, but if you want it, here ya go.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/226562.asp

Trace Memory - $24.99 b/c - GONE
Not too much of a discount, but really, this game is about the best single player game on the DS. When I got it, I played it non-stop *twice*. It's good.

luckily i already have it...

and love it, oh shaq you big hunk. such a multitalented man, rapper, fighter, bball icon... police man. his possibilities are endless.

My Resident Evil Gaiden came in, but I dont think it works... It does the opening sequence with the mission briefing, then it flashes and goes to a blank screen.

And could they have used a bigger box to send the stuff in? Lol

Quick question: a couple days ago I saw a set of Logitech 5.1 speakers new on ebgames. It was the cheaper 5.1 set that retails for $80, but was priced at $30. Was this for real? And can I SAVER this with an NES game?

Uh... did anyone else just buy Burnout 2 for GC? I took my time ordering it, completed it, went back to find the link to post here, and the other 4 copies (there were 5 when I first added it to cart) were gone.

Edit: Nevermind, their search is just being really horrible right now.

Man, EB is not long for this world, its functionality is fading. We might have to revoke some of the Cheapy Awards it is sure to win.

This has been reported as a price drop in store, so I'd imagine the price is valid. As long as it doesn't say on the item description that there will be an extra S/H charge or that Saver won't apply, I'd also imagine that it can be used.
might i ask why you paid for shipping?
Yeaaa...Thats kind of weird, actually. I noticed that when I placed my order. There was actually a separate handling charge (2.49) and shipping charge (5.99). I don't know why that is exactly, but my only guess is there was some kind of handling since the wireless-g adapter is hardware??? Once I receive my items I'm going to call customer service and gripe hoping to get my money back because I did use the SAVER code.

And actually, I've been looking through the orders I've placed in the past couple weeks and they all have shipping added on the "My Orders" page whereas when I actually place the order and get the final confirmation page there is no Shipping and Handling. I guess I'll be on the phone for awhile getting those credits back.

Oh yea. And I got my Chrono Cross today and it was disc only...so its going back.

Well, I received the Kuon game I ordered last week today; written blatantly on a sticker on the back cover, "DEFECTIVE." And hey, guess what? It IS DEFECTIVE! The disc is scratched up all to shit, on both sides.

I also received Hulk: UD about a week ago. It was also defective. Their quality has gone to shit, as far as I'm concerned. Now I'm afraid to order anything from them that's more than a few dollars. :\

I ordered a few older games (Dead to rights, splinter cell, armored core 2), all came scratched up. armored core 2 freezes, unfortunately I bought it a month ago when I sold my PS2 and I didn't have one to test it.

I don't think I'm ordering from them anymore.

Yeah, things are definitely taking a turn for the worse. I've ordered plenty, and it's been great. But lately, I've been hearing all of these horror stories, and then I receive what was quite obviously a doctored copy of Ninja Gaiden. Seems to work ok on my XBox, but I had trouble playing it on a friend's. My latest issue is with my copy of Four Swords. It works....occassionally. Sometimes it freezes, sometimes it doesn't even start up. I'm afraid to even try CotM...
I called them around Monday of this week and they said it was backordered.

I just checked again today and the "Still time to cancel" has been removed, but it's still listed as "Open".

I'll wait until Monday and give 'em a call again.
Whoo! They've shipped! Yippie!

Eb and gamestop stop taking dreamcast games.I know 2 gamestop around here received a large shipment from their warehouse.Wow,I never saw so many sport game games,at least 10 copy each. The only thing respectable they have is 6 complete Soul Cailbur and 5 disk only Soul Cailbur.

Sorry for asking, but the answer isn't in the FAQ on the first page. I ordered something from EB online and the quality is terrible. Do I return it in-store, or do I gotta get an RMA and mail it to EB HQ?

I think you can take it back to the store, seems to be the most preferred method of returns

I swooped up one of those $20 MMXC botticus posted, hope it's not plastered with stickers...

I ordered GC Resident Evil 4 a couple weeks ago. I tried it on Thursday. It got about ten seconds into the game and choked.

Cleaned the disc twice, then noticed the resurfacing fluid residue. I decided to take it back to a local store.

When I got there, the exchange was easy and I got a shrinkwrapped, non-GH RE4 for my troubles (apparently, someone had traded in an unopened RE4, which had to be resold as pre-played.)

And, this is when I found Hulk: UD. So, overall quality may be going down, but as long as the return policy is still good, I'll keep trying.

I recevied several of games and some were less then statsifactory condition. The two castlevanis symphony of the night(gh & non gh disk only)had some white stuff on it.The mario kart double disk front side is all scratched up and have white stuff on it.Zelda four sword look like someone drop it in the toilet and suprise surprise more white sutff on zelda dx.I'm gong to the store later today to exchange it.The Time Crisis,Dragon Warrior 1 &2 and Wild Arms Alter F came in mint condition so it wasnt all bad.

Whats the deal with the white stuff?.The employees are either sniffing crack or someone have some crazy fetish fucking games.
Dragon Warrior 1 &2 and Wild Arms Alter F came in mint condition so it wasnt all bad.

I believe, from previous posts in the eb games threads, that the residue you are referring to is residue that is left over after the resurfacing process.

Yeah, I could get Soul Calibur 3 for $30 at Sam Goody and their going out of business sale, but I didn't since I'm sure it will be a greatest hits title by the time I would even get around to opening it and then I can get it for $20.

I've had some bad luck. Gone through 3 different Zelda Oracle of Ages carts all just boott o a white screen. A copy of Ikaruga and Mario Kart: DD wouldn't boot. And that, kids, is why you buy at least 2 copies of something if possible, and hook up a fellow CAGer if they both work. :)

Today I received "Wario Land 4" for GBA and it was just in a very bad condition. The game wont even start. Also my "Metroid Zero Mission" wont even SAVE my games. I played for a while saved it, came back later only to realize the game save wasnt there. Im so fucking pissed.

Earlier today I received the Castlevania COTM I ordered earler in the week the cart is in bad condition the game label has a tear on it when I put the cart in my GBA SP the game does not get past the GB logo. It is broken. To make matters worse I called up EB Games to setup a exchange and I was told they will not be getting any more COTM so I cannot send the game back to get a exchange only a refund sounded like bull to me I will try calling again tomorrow.

I am considering not buying any more GBA and older cartridge games off of EB Games website anymore I have not had very good luck lately. They sent me two non-working carts SNES DKC 2 and GBA COTM and I got a Metroid Fusion cart that would not save and was a very tight fit in my GBA but I sent that one back they sent me a replacement cart I have not gotten it yet. I did get lucky with GBA Zelda LTTP the cart is in good condition and works perfectly.

I don't know if anyone really cares or not, but I've been doing some of my personal best picks (generally stuff I have that I like) lately. A lot of it seems to sell out after I post it, but then again, the stuff I post is usually pretty popular...

Anywhoo, I went through and updated my previous picks - leaving only the stuff that was sold out and compiled together the items that aren't sold out as of right now (along with some mini-reviews). Pretty much everything (although I'm not a big Resident Evil fan) on here gets my thumbs up - for what it's worth to y'all.

Update

I went to my local EB Games store they had three copies of Castlevania COTM in stock I exchanged the bad copy I got through the mail today for a COTM cart in perfectly good working condition. The sticker price at the B&M store is $12.99.:)

Now I await the arrival of the replacement copy of Metroid Fusion.

Well that's annoying... I returned my defective copy of Breath of Fire II last week at EB, but they didn't have another in stock to exchange it with. Now they do, but I'd rather wait till I can save a few bucks buying online again.

Breath of Fire II is $14.99 after coupons, right? I noticed someone selling their copy for $12 shipped on the trading forum. Here's a link to her (his?) list:
