How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 8am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.t

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

How do I find links to games that are currently out of stock?
Use the following Google link and replace "gameyouwantgoeshere" with the name of the game you are searching for. [thanks radjago]

Well, I saw some GBA games like Aria of Sorrow and Metal Slug Advance pop up. I haven't been awake for any other morning updates so I don't know if they've been in stock...

To be fair, the site was glitchy there for a few seconds... I was getting System Errors from their site.

I encountered a few sorry pages from ebgames.com when I tried to open a few links from here. It was down for maybe half a minute.sarcasm is not welcomed here. Do not make me think you are an idiot.

it's a glitch. happens sometimes...that game is one of the constant offenders. if your cart shows up empty, it's not actually in stock, regardless of what the search/browse says.

No. Phoenix Wright, Guitar Hero, the 1019 GC memory card and the GC broadband adapter were definite no shows.
 
Of course I missed it during my meeting. Ah well. Doesn't look like anything of interest came in stock.

Has Zelda Collector's Edition popped up anytime lately? Haven't seen it.

It's really not that great of a game... sort of funny... graphics are cool in a Super NES type of way... IMHO, worth a few hours of play and a few laughs... then you will be done with it.

You can pick them up on Ebay for ~$50 really easliy... buy one, play it and resell it... ?

I put 20 hours into that game, though the replayability is low to nonexistant. One of these days I'll play through it again once I forgot most of the plot.
 
After that lackluster update, you'd think there's nothing to spend your hard earned dollar on? Think again! :)

Well, no one wants to buy the other Bomberman game for the 64, so I'll reccomend this one. It's a completly different Bomberman game - a platformer. It's not your typical Bomberman.

Now, before everyone yells and laughs at me for picking this game, let me say, it can be pretty fun. People liken it to Pokémon Channel, but that's not really fair. Pokémon Channel was not fun at all. It was horrible. Snap is fun and for $5, it's worth picking up. Also, there's two links to it when you're searching through the N64 section and that annoys me. So buy 'em up.

Pac Man vs. (with Bonus Pac Man World 2) - $17.99 b/c - 2 left
It's probably over priced, but Pac Man vs. is one of the top ten best multi-player games this generation. If you have a GCN, a GBA and a link cable (and a friend or two), you *need* this game. Also, you'll get Pac Man World 2. Sorry, but sometimes you have to take the bad with the good.

Nope, but my friend and I were just discussing that. He's wagering that they do a separate release, but neither of us have heard any news. Unfortunately in that same discussion he sold me on PSC, so now I have to get that in-store at some point, hopefully with an aforementioned B2G1F.
 
Just made my first EB edge card/CAG15/SAVER used item purchase:

1 x Billy Hatcher (Cheap, Fun, and got me free shipping since SAVER won't work with accessories)

Total was $37.24 ($11.50 savings according to my confirmation)

i heard they was going to do 1 2 and 4 for the playstation 2, BUT i dont think it comes out till 2008 and by then the system will be long dead, i dont even think PS4 is even out in japan yet .
 
descent maximum showed up mint and complete, as did PSO III Card. still waitiing for god of war and indigo, can't wait to play them, even though i'm playing DQ 8 and PoP: TTT right now. plus, i was planning to play Katamari Damacy soon too. i'm so backlogged on PS2, i'm glad my xbox is broken. playing KH: CoM right now too, to prepare for KH 2.

Naw... The only things that sell well when I reccomend them are things that would likely sell on their own merits if only everyone knew they were there.

When I reccomend things for the novelty of them (Like FaceBall 2000 - the only FPS on the original GameBoy and the only GB game - from any generation - to allow up to 16 players in a single game), no one really jumps...
 
My Makai Kingdom and Atelier Iris arrived today. MK has been resurfaced, and AI has some light scratching, but both appear to be in playable condition.

Used? Probably fairly good.

Checked on the copy of BoFII GBA showing up in stock at my EB, but it was indeed the defective copy I just returned last week. Shot the shit with one of the employees and another customer about that Spore video beforehand. He's also waiting for it to go on the DS.
 
what's up with this? i was at eb today returning something, and they had new copies of Pokemon Yellow and Blue, one behind the counter and one in the GBA section. definitely not there last time i checked in, so perhaps they were in storage or came in a shipment.

I just took the plunge $14.61 A/C for Resident Evil 4 is a good deal if they send me a original copy if they send me a Player's Choice RE 4 I'll send it back and get my money back.
