FAQ:
How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

The bottle looks like this:

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 8am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.t

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

How do I find links to games that are currently out of stock?
Use the following Google link and replace "gameyouwantgoeshere" with the name of the game you are searching for. [thanks radjago]

Sigh, nothing for me either. Many rare games pop out this mourning.I had them in my cart, but I already have all those games already.Disgaea was there for briefly sec when I was copying and pasting all those links it was gone.Dang, some people are slow ordering I was doing my report and scroll through all the games at the same time
sadly, mine came in crappity condition. for once though, i ordered something not overly rare and might actually be able to exchange it.
My Indigo Prophecy came in yesterday crappy, as well. I'm hoping they exchange it for a new(er) one.

so is "craptacular" a so-bad-its-good thing, or just bad?

EDIT: Ooh, judging by the user reviews of Daikatana (which look reliable for once), I'll assume it's just bad.
Has ebgames stopped on a dime for anyone else? I can't even activate coupons in my cart...
Nope. I just threw some stuff in there and SAVER'd it to test,

Well, some of the more HTF games may not have came in stock today, but there *is* some stuff worth picking up. Heck, the entire GB/GBC Mario/Wario Land series is instock.

(See Previous: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1744402&postcount=676)

Banjo Kazooie - (N64) - $6.99 b/c - GONE
One of the "Great N64 Games" - if you've got an N64, you should have at least played this game.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/139902.asp

Ocarina of Time (N64) - $9.99 b/c - GONE
Considered by many to be the greatest game of all time (IIMHO that honor goes to Link's Awakening, but...) this game is the #1 must-have N64 title.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/157987.asp

Mario Party (N64) - $17.99 b/c - GONE
Let's get this party started with the first game in the ever-awesome Mario Party series. Now, I only own MP 1, 3 and 5 but I have to say that Mario Partty 1 is the best - people litterally tore the skin off their hands playing this game - doesn't that sound like fun?
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/159966.asp

Pokémon Puzzle Challange (GBC) - $4.99 b/c - GONE
Tetris Attack to-go anyone?
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/190794.asp

Super Mario Land 2 (GB) - $12.99 b/c - GONE
As I said before, this game is about 100x better than the first Mario Land game - and the bunny ears are an awesome little power-up. Also, the first appearance of Wario.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/201947.asp

Super Mario Land (GB) - $11.99 b/c - 1 left
This game is short (a mere 12 levels) but it is pretty fun. The graphics are llimited (even for a GB game), the challange is little-to-none, but for some reason, you'll find yourself coming back to this game every so often for another play-thru. Is it that classic Nintendo charm... or is it because you get to play Mario in a spaceship?
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/203557.asp

Link's Awakening (GB) - $9.99 b/c - 2 left
This is the best damn game ever made. Period. If you've never played it, don't buy it now because you don't deserve to be considered a gamer. ;)
The DX version runs $4.99 when in-stock - better price on a prettier version, so it might be worth holding out for.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/208745.asp
DX Version (OoS)
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/158520.asp

Altered Space (GB) - $5.99 b/c - 1 left
A strange little game, a mix of platforming, puzzle and adventure. You won't always have fun with it, but you will be challanged by it.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/210841.asp

Wario Blast (Featuing Bomberman) (GB) - $7.99 b/c - 1 left
Okay, so I was looking some stuff about this up the other day, and it seems here in the US, we got the Japanese game "Bomberman GB" as this game with Wario put in to sell it to us crazy Americans. The game we know as "Bomberman GB" is the Japanese game "Bomberman GB 2". I'd have to say to grab this one though. It's got Wario and Wario clones.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/216180.asp

Wario Land 2 (GB) - $7.99 b/c - 2 left
Any game in the Wario Land series is a great platformer. You should collect them all. It's what Wario would want.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/216181.asp

Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land (GB) - $12.99 b/c - 9 in-stock
You are getting greedy... Play as Wario for the *first* time ever! After getting his nose handed to him in Mario Land, Wario goes on an adventure to get gold, ladies and beer. Well, really just gold. There's a bit of a Wario theme here today?
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/216182.asp

N64 RF Adapter - $2.99 b/c - 3 left
According to one of the reviews on this, it'll work with the Revolution - so get your 20 year old television set ready to go with tommrow's gaming system. Seriously, it will work with the SNES-mini, N64 and GCN. I keep one around just incase I'm bringing a system to a friends house only to find out they have one of those 20 year old TVs...
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/224548.asp

Rumble Pak (N64) - $2.99 b/c - 10 in-stock
A good price, unfortunatly it doesn't guarantee that you'll get an official one. Looks like more came in stock today.

Kids, it's that time again. Time for a new thread, since we're well above 500 posts.

Someone make a new one and let me and one of the other mods know it's been made, so we'll stick that one and close + unstick this one.
Errr.. Cheapy said we didn't need a new one every 500 posts now... ?:|

No it's not

He has a point there...
Now, now! Lets not anger the mods. EBGames morning Update thread hasn't been what it used to be in a while now. Lets just hope they decide not to can the thread altogether.

Nice moderators...
Holy S!!! Playstation games dropped to 130?!?! Wasn't it like 350+ yesterday?!?
Ya I figured I would just put them out of their misery and try and buy most of them. Someone help me out and buy the rest.

I'm getting some horrible luck lately with gameboy advance games.I got nasty label zelda,so I order another one I got same one in similar condition. The two ogre tactics came out bootleg.Thx,a lot eb.How could you not tell the difference? They sent them all in one order. Now I starting to act all pesimistic and think all my games will come up fuck or bootleg.

I just yesterday got a dead-on-arrival Namco Museum for my GBA -- which I promptly exchanged at the nearest EB. There's no way they had tested that game before they sent it out.

heh...well, if they can send a game clearly marked "DEFECTIVE," then I can see a bootleg or two slipping through their..."rigorous" screening process.

btw, I ordered Tactics Ogre before, it looks a lot like the one in the middle of that picture, only the sticker is more worn. It's looks like the real deal, the back and front reading "Nintendo" and everything. And of course, one of the characters on the sticker in mine also.
the ones without the dude are bootlegs?
yea, their is no nintendo logo under the cart
Found this while I was bored at work this evening:

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/256790.asp

Tecmo Classic Arcade - Pre-Played - 12.99 b/c
It's backwards compatible with the 360.

It might be worth $10. It depends on how much you like the arcade version of Tecmo Bowl. I prefer the SNES Tecmo Super Bowl. Rygar can get boring when you're not feeding it quarters, and it's hard as hell. My favorites are Solomon's Key and Pinball Action, which given its age, is surprisingly addictive.
In stock for a few...

9.99 GC Mario Kart Double Dash with Presell Disc
I know someone here ordered that a couple of weeks ago, but it hadn't shipped for a long period of time. I wonder if they ever got it.
double dash w/bonus disk appear for a brief second
Right, I know that. But someone here at CAG ordered it a while back. I'm wondering if it's a legitimate item (rather than a glitch), since his hadn't shipped the last time he posted.

UncleBob posted a few posts up that he got it finally :) I hope the one that came in stock today wasn't the same one that I returned last week that was in mint condition, oh, aside from the GIANT GASH across the whole disc that made it unbootable. :p

It's a bit of a gamble with used controllers, but I ordered 2 of these guys and they work perfectly. Great price too A/C:
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/218697.asp

On a side note, will I EVER get my OoT/Master Quest Gamecube discs I ordered a month ago? :p
