can someone explain to me why Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II hasn't gone down in price? it was released around the same time as Champions of Norrath, yet it's still $30 + everywhere. did it have a low printrun because of the Vivendi problem?
 
Thats a great question. I guess its a popular game with a low run. Ive wanted this forever, and finally picked it up at a Gamestop where its $24.99. I used my 10% off card and as part of a buy2get1free coupon so I was finally able to knock that price down a bit. You may wanna try that route if you really want the game bad.

Seriously... if people don't hurry up and buy Cubivore, I might have to go against my better judgement and buy it. Two copies should not be sitting around that long.
 
I almost pulled the trigger on Cubivore, but I know it'll just go onto the stack of games that I'll never get around to. The only reason I'd want it is because it's uncommon. Someone should be able to get it who will play it and enjoy it.

Ditto on that one... and $30 is just too much to spend on something I will eventually get around to playing. That's what $10 games are for.

Wow... I've never seen rare/sought-after games last as long as the 4 copies of Ninja Gaiden and 2 copies of Cubivore have today. My resolve is weakening against buying Cubivore.

Not only that but Jade Empire LE is sitting there for 11.24 after discounts, WTF people? I mean its $5 cheaper than the regular version, that's a steal!

I know I ordered one at that price!
 
You people are all fuckers... if Cubivore is still in stock when I get home tonight, I think I'm going to have to buy it. It intrigued me before I knew how much it cost, and now I've decided in a few hours I will purchase a game of cubes eating other cubes.

I guess on the plus side, no copy of Cubivore is gonna sell for under $30 on eBay. So I should be able to get my money back if I hate it.

Pitt? As in Pittsburgh? I say save the $30, try to spend a half an hour at The Exchange in Squirrel Hill (as well as the EB across the street), and see if they have it. My friend picked up Cubivore either at The Exchange there or at the EB across the street last year for $15. That and The Exchange is usually known for carrying some hard-to-find titles for better prices, Cubivore included.

Just a suggestion. However, the likelihood that they will have either is probably low, but I suggest stopping by there anyway if you're in the area. That or any other Exchange you can find. You never know what they may have.

Noted... I'll look up the locations unless you have addresses - keep in mind I've only been in Pittsburgh once and that was to visit Carnegie-Mellon so I have no clue where anything is. She won't be able to say anything since I'll likely be paying for 4 hours of gas, couple museum admissions, and I'm just lucky my car isn't big enough to fit anything from IKEA. It'll be sweet when they get the new one up in Canton, MI though. Parents are gonna hate it...
 
Ha, Cubivore is finally gone, thank God. But per another thread below... reprint? GameQuestDirect and Gamestop are chock full of some like-new bad boys. Might look into it for the B2G1F that supposedly starts now. If I want to spend $80 on three games, that is.
