Well, this is certainly an odd find. I have been seeing lots of new PSOne games popping up lately.... RPG Maker is one of them for $29.99. Its doubtful you'll get a sealed copy though. You'll most likely get a crapped up display copy. Is this game any good? An EB has a used one for $12.99, should I get it?

I had everything set up, read something on another webpage, came back to realize the PS1 numbers had jumped hugely, reloaded the Earthbound page, saw it was in-stock, swore profusely, and failed to get it in my cart.

cripes, do all you west coast CAGs stay up all night or do you set your alarm for 4 am?

Not to mention it was an early update...6:58 according to my calculations. I just hope it went to someone who is actually going to play it or didn't have it already or going to flip it on ebay.

I think some people actually wake up, but I work until 1:30 AM, so I just stay awake for the update, go to sleep around five-ish, and then wake up at two-ish to get ready for work. Works pretty well.

i figure it was 37.50 before tax if the person was buying to flip it they would have to get it complete or at least with manual .. it was going to make a nice xms present for my cousin (who keeps trying to steal my complete copy) : )

update was 700 on my clock. I just got up, i set my clock for 5 time and just had enough time to put codes in

glad i got gallop racer 2004.. i got a sealed copy but didnt want to open it

Some of us are actually still awake. I'm still up since 3:30 AM yesterday myself.

Man, I wish I had some sort of caffeine intake to blame this on but...nope, nothing.

This was apparently a pretty amazing update. Valkyrie Profile, Earthbound, and according to EB's search, Gitaroo Man, FFIII SNES, Mario RPG and Kirby Super Star all came in stock on the same morning.

Does anyone think this has to do with stores shipping thier stock to the wherehouse to make room for the 360's? If that is the case: a) Then the B&M might have some burried treasure to keep an eye on and b) Look for more goodness no the Morning Update!

that's certainly a possibility. there has to be a reason for Suikoden II, VP, and Earthbound all showing up within 2 days.

EB's site is insane this morning. It gives you the out-of-stock page when you click the link, but if you instead do a search for 'shadow colossus' and add it to cart from the search screen, there are still six available.

Heh, my enjoyment usually involves "Wow, all of those games sure went out of stock quickly" followed by everyone telling me they got them, so I can probably afford to lose this diversion. But at least it makes me get ready for work quickly.

Helping out a fellow CAG hook up with a game that they have been wanting makes my day.

I remember about 6 months ago on a Friday I was going to snag this game, but decided to wait until Monday so I could get an edge card and get another 10% off. Of course they ran out of stock so I spent the next month kicking myself and searching the website every morning waiting for it to come back. It finally did and I ordered 2 "just in case" and took the extra copy back to the store when I made sure that the other one worked. I learned my lesson about EB - "You snooze you loose"

have you considered getting one of those verizon dsl connections? i don't know much about broadband prices these days but they seemed pretty cheap. might be worth it in savings from the updates.
