To me, a "late update" is after 7:30. Apparently they've been pretty early in the past month?

I think its just you ;) It seems to be happening consistently (minus today) at about 7:10 or earlier.

By the way, for those of you that are curious here's a picture of the official morning update button that the guy at EBgames.com has to press each day ..

fuck...Because the update was so late I missed it! My boss came in early and couldn't stop talking to me about the Eagles...I Miss anything good?

nothing much as far as playstation games. i think Star Ocean 2 came in. SNES games included Chrono Trigger, SMRPG, Shadowrun, SoE, and Contra III. NES and N64 were dry. MvC2 came in for DC. nothing much in GBC games.
 
Got my ToD2 yesterday, sadly it was only discs and back insert, but the discs were in pretty damn good condition. Already got my LttP today, for some reason they sent it UPS 3-day?? It was the only thing in the order, so it's not like I pulled the trick of including a piece of hardware in the order.

check your order status on the website. they may have charged you 3-day shipping. it's happened to me 9 times now. there's a glitch with my account, there may be one with yours too.

lucky you. my glitch is getting annoying. although they've been great about it. they're trying to fix it right now.

Once in a while they ship UPS. More frequently for cartridges. I bought Four Swords (the big box) a while ago with an NES game as fodder, and they both shipped separately UPS. Ninja Gaiden (NES) shipped by itself UPS. Ogre Battle 64 shipped by itself UPS. All my GC games go USPS.
 
hmm the 1 in 6 complete PS1 games figure is about right for me as well. what i think's going on is they're for some odd reason removing the front part of a double wide case and replacing it with an empty cd shell. for example, i received my order of Shadow Madness x3, Covert Ops x2, and C-12 today and only C-12 was complete. however, all 5 of SM + CO were in double wide cases with only the back insert, the front side not even with a cd holder. but why would they bother getting rid of the front side of the cd case? it's like more work for them, and less satisfaction for us.
 
Personally I'm kinda curious if they notice the mad rush for purchases at 7am. I would assume so, but I wonder if its an amount that they really care about, or if we're really the only few who eat up the rare ones on update. It'd be nice if it was profitable for them so we could see it continue once the merger takes full effect.

It was a good port in terms of graphics and moves. Everything from the original was ported over. The only downside was the rediculously bad AI. Even the hardest setting is a cakewalk. Too bad really...
 
just got a disc only suikoden 2 today. the disc isn't completely mint but it looks better than most games i've gotten from ebgames.com. is this worth keeping?
