EBgames not taking ps3 preorders ever?

I was in EBgames this morning and the guy said that corporate said that they will not be taking preorders for the ps3 because of what happened during 360 preorders. He said they might take the wii but definately not the ps3? Can anyone confirm this?
 
I was just talking to a guy in EB yesterday and he said as soon as they get an approximate number of units they'll be shipping out, they're going to start taking preorders.

I don't trust any of them though.

The only one that really has anything to do with mine is the second one I didnt ask what stores are taking them or where was simply asking whether or not all stores are doing this or not. But thanks for the link for the second one.
