EBGames.. Refurb Xbox for 99.99 Would you pay that price?

That's a good price. The refurb units are a much better buy than the used units. You don't know what problems you'll inherit with a used XBox. The refurbs come with the same warranty the new units do. I initially bought a new XBox at launch. I recently bought a refurb unit for $119 and it works just fine. I thought $119 was a good buy! I recomend the purchase.
 
I might get a PS2 for $100. Although, some people have said that they have had trouble with refurb. systems.
 
Get it. It's a 3rd of the price from when it was released, and it is garunteed. Now with the BB sales and places like EB, GS, and GR having odd but very cool sales you ca have a small xbox collection in no time.
 
I bought a 2nd one, but damn... was the Xbox nasty. The drive was crappy, the controller I got didn't work AT ALL, the 4th controller port was busted, the thing was dirty and smelled, and just more reasons why I hate EB. I have to go to the store now to exchange it.
 
I've mentioned this before, but the "Refurbished" Units at EBGames are NOT really refurbished. They are USED units. The ONLY thing that is "refurbushed" is they check the used unit to see if it powers on. That's it. If it turns on it's good to go. If you want a REAL Refurbished you have to look at the FACTORY REFURBISHED unit. This is one that was sent to Microsoft, fixed, and comes with the warranty. EBGames is just using the word "Refurbished" to make it look better than a "Used" unit. So many people return these every day.
