Modfist me if this is posted somewhere. Any employees who can confirm or clarify, I'm all ears.
Ebstop (a.k.a. Gamegames) are offering a 30% pre-order bonus for all Wii games including Twilight Princess. This is according to an email sent out yesterday, as told to me by a reliable clerk. I believe it's part of thier "Power Pre-Order" promotion where one would normally get 10% bonus to money down.
Additionally, according to same clerk, Edge cards will add another 10%, effectively making it a 33% overall bonus.
I couldn't work out if that's just the first $5, or as much as you want to drop. And if it is the first $5, I don't know if it's possible to relocate that money after the fact (pre-order every game, get your bonus, and then push them all to one game come release day).
Finally, this co-incides with the 3 for $10, so... you do the math.
(for Strell and those who fear math, take a $15 bunch o' Max Paynes and other $1.99 type games:
15 games with a minimum of $1 trade value = $15
5 bundles of 3 = $10 ($65)
$65 dollars pushed onto pre-orders getting a 30% bonus = $84.50
Plus 10% Edge Card = $92.95)
Again, all this is off of one dude's analysis, I'm sure there could be flaws anywhere - but that is verbatum (the percents and the order in which they are added) how the promotion would work.
*UPDATE*
According to CAGers, you need a coupon from this months Game Informer Magazine and it will NOT stack with the 3 for 10 promotion.
