EBX Had/Has Wii's In Stock at B&M Stores Today (4/29)! YMMV

Was at the EBX Store here in Fairfax, VA at the Fair Oaks Mall. They had 16 Wii's in stock this morning at 10am. Got here at 10:45am this morning and got the 4th to last one they had. Worth a shot even though its 3:00pm EST. West coasters still may have a shot. Keep in mind YMMV!

Heh yeah I got mine there today too, I actually only went into the store for the B2G1, and as I was browsing, I overheard the clerk saying to someone that they had a few Wiis left, so I said I'd take one. Not bad for an impulse buy!
 
I went to the Trumbull, CT mall around 1PM EST. 3 stores there, one said they got 1, another said they got 4, don't know about the third. Did overhear something about a Best Buy getting 80 something and a CC getting a dozen or so.
 
No one checks regional regularly. I used to but there's no real point. If one EB got Wiis in stock, it's worth a phone call to see if some other ones did.

Jesus, why the hell to people bother to post inane garbage like "That's a deal?". Does it make your e-peen stretch or what?

Honestly, it's not like people are posting, "GEARS OF WAR FOR ONLY $59.99!!!" or "SUPER PAPER MARIO FOR ONLY $49.99!!!"

The Wiis are hard to come by still. MSRP is a deal compared to bundled or scalped prices on eBay. Stop being so obnoxious folks. :)

Its pointless to post a thread in the deals forum about Wiis being in stock. It cluters up the deals forum and causes people to miss real deals. The regional boards were created specifically to let people know what deals are going on around them. Someone in Florida isn't really going to benefit from knowing that Virginia has Wiis in stock. Furthermore, as someone already mentioned, Gamestop getting in Wiis for sale today was already covered in the Gamestop ad thread. All around, this thread is pointless.

There is a YMMV in the topic. I posted my city and location because I know there is people in my area that are on these boards who may want one and as you can see other people have confirmed that they were in stock at there local store as far west as California. I'd rather someone post a thread saying when a Wii is in stock at B&M store than not. Most people just figure stores don't even get them in because they sell out so soon, so don't even bother to call. Thi is a community to band people together. You may not think it's a deal, but with every online place selling them in bundles. It is a deal. There are plenty of mods around, if they wanted it moved, it would/will be moved. I'm sorry you don't feel this is a deal, but..

Please back on topic.

I think you've been on CAG(or at least registered) long enough to no it's not "all of a sudden".

Good thing we all took initiative last November and created the offical availability threads...

It's a double post or a wrong-forum post, but I'm just kinda tired of people saying NOT A DEAL! when people post things that are hard to find as being in-stock, be it B&M or online. Especially when someone's just trying to help out and not maliciously posting obnoxious threads.

Maybe mods could be more on top of closing/moving/merging these types of threads?

It just seems that lately people have been extra rude, with comments like "THAT DOESN'T GO HERE!" or "HOW IS THAT A DEAL?!" Seriously,I thought we were all on here to help each other with our gaming needs? Is the fact that someone posted something that may have been in a wrong area something to get so upset about that folks have to mock people for it?

That's just my point, that's all. :cool:
