ordered thursday and just got mine in the mail! shipped priority mail even though i did free shipping! comedy central store ATB, FTW!
 
Apparently you can order more than one copy and get the deal still! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA! I just ordered two sets for the cost of one. Now I can sell both and hopefully get the deal again and actually get the DVD set plus some cash! haha.
 
Well you can only use the coupon one time per account, so I will have a friend buy some for himself too. Does this only work on Season 9 or does it work on the other seasons as well?

I got the "backorder" email a couple of days later after I placed my order. I am still waiting for it to be shipped :cry:
 
I ordered mine on April 2nd and looks like it was shipped yesterday. But it shows the price at $34.99 on the email they sent me. Did that happen to everyone when they received their shipment notification?

I checked the order status at the site and it shows the discount. I looked at my credit card activity and I don't see the transaction which is weird also.
 
Has anyone that had their order backordered and now "shipped" checked the tracking number on usps.com? When I check mine it states:

"The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on April 10, 2007 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."

So it looks to me that they are just buying some time, since they never updated the website, the site said they were in stock until you actually ordered them and THEN it told you they were backordered.
 
From my experience, some e trackings on USPS may not update at all until *AFTER* you get the item. It makes absolutely no sense, but in my times sending stuff and printing the tracking labels that way it's not out of the question.

It appears everyone "backordered" got the same "mailed" message on Tuesday. Hopefully my box is not crushed. ;-)
 
Ordered on the 2nd and was back ordered. Shipping in the 9th and I received it today. Box is pretty much in great condition. Just one small crease at the end of the inner case. Came in one of those cardboard envelopes that was twice the size of the dvd box.
 
Got mine yesterday! I placed the order on April 3rd, which is great because there must have been a HUGE rush to order this, and I assumed I'd be dealing with a backorder for a while.

DVD box was in perfect condition, but I could totally see how it COULD have been crushed. The packaging was really flimsy, basically like a cardboard envelope. So be warned!

Anyway, I'm really stoked over such a great deal. I actually missed a bunch of the 9th season, so for the first time I'll be "premiering" South Park episodes on DVD!

they used to. When I puirchased KITH season 1 a while back, it was shipped to me in a box with bubble wrap inside of that.
