Love the fact EGM's next month cover story is Gears of War 2... gee, didn't I just get a magazine this month that already covered GoW 2?

Oh yea, it was Game Informer... way to be on top of the game EGM.

Sometimes the mag isn't even worth reading even though it's free.

The stab that Quarterman took at Surfer Girl was real classy too.

Surfer Girl also mentions that Bioshock is NOT coming to PS3 -

Contrary to what the EGM section of gossip that was definitely told to them by insiders and that totally was not taken from the buffet of blogs including this one and a smorgasbord of message boards, BioShock is still not coming to PS3 nor is there plans for a PS3 version of its sequel (extremely unlikely, as one in Redmond says they were only joking when they said they were joking that Microsoft paid for exclusivity rights and one in the Bay Area says the amount work it would take to develop a PS3 version is a "distraction" that would put too much stress on an already brief, crunch-filled development cycle).

One of the inherent problems with reporting rumors is that information can change. Just because an artist does a rendering of a character or a setting doesn't mean that it's going to happen. Or just because it was mentioned in a meeting doesn't mean that it will ever happen. Plans change, projects get canceled quietly, and the rumor mill looks bad because of it.

With that being said, I'm still waiting for Jade Empire 2. Supposedly, there is working code on that game, and it was all but confirmed shortly after JE came out. But now... nothing... I wonder if the takeover of Bioware killed the project.

Nah, I've noticed with Bioware they don't seem to really start hyping a game unless they've got something pretty far along... Dragon Age for PC is still being worked on, and every so often they talk about it, but it's not as hyped as the Sonic RPG which is a lot closer to release.

I think when they've done more with Jade Empire 2, and have something stable, they'll release more info on it.

...pretty much sums it up. Mario Kart DS does Mario Kart better than Mario Kart Wii.

From the inability to add the DLC onto the disc to BioShock 2 failing to meet expectations, I agree with everything you said.

That's what we're hoping, but nobody knows for sure. It's just a short blurb that doesn't make any distinction between the two bundles.

I thought there real special edition MGS4 PS3 was gunmetal... not gray? I know there's a gunmetal one and a regular ass black one but never heard/seen a gray one.
