ePSXe Recording Problem With FRAPS.

CAGiversary!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble trying to get FRAPS to record my PS1 emulator properly (I own a PS1 so I'm not illegally emulating games, I'm emulating for recording purposes). So does anybody on CAG know about this and can help me?

The problem I'm having is that when I hit record, the game slows down to about half speed. I've tried different plugins, plugin configurations and FRAPS configurations and I just can't get it to work right, so can somebody give me some help?

Specs
GPU Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 (1GB)
Processor: Intel Pentium D 3.2GHz Dual Core (One of the very early dual cores though)
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit

I should note that I can have the FRAPS setting at 60FPS on full screen and record games such as Mass Effect and Call Of Duty 4 at maximum specs without issue (CoD4 drops to around 30FPS when recording but it does not bother me at all, it's still very smooth), so I don't think it's a hardware problem.
