Well I didn't go to GS yesterday, but since the sale is still going, maybe I'll finally bite if I can work up the energy to actually go out there.
 
They changed the www.qotsa.com 'pre-home page' page from the "Sick, Sick, Sick" video to a pretty funny promotional spot. I can't wait. For the record. For the tour. And for the album cover T-shirt.
 
Yesterday down at Harbor Fest there was a stand where a guy was making boxes in "ye olde" way and his title was "Shaker Box Maker". I just thought it sounded cool, so I stole his title.
 
This OTT needs more QOTSA. I suggest you update your OP w/ this pancake head.

You'd be amazed at how fast you can get through an RPG (in this case Star Ocean: TtEoT) if you just had the option to skip the cutscenes everytime.

Well, this is pretty OT even for the OTT, but it hasn't stopped me yet!

Its Guild Wars, so I guess you may have to be into that sort of thing, but basically, some guy was asking why he couldn't do something and I told him it was because he hadn't done the right quest yet...after that, lols were had.

I remember that age. You have a job? Better not, enjoy that shit while you can. :lol:

I hate asking for gifts.. All I could do was hint that I wanted a handgun, rather than outright asking. =x
 
Bah. The guitar is the instrument of the middle ages. Bands still using them today are people who're too dorky to just go down to the ren fair and hit on the fat chicks in too tight tops.

And its not like I want to or don't want to ask for something, its that there's nothing I really want period.
Maybe I'll ask for some computer components or an 80 gb ipod or something (neither of which I'm likely to get. I'll probably just get some cash in the end.).

The one with a live track is a track from Rated R, and the other track (Everybody's Gonna Be Alright) appears on a B-sides and Rarities album.
 
I guess I'm kind of like you when it comes to birthdays. I don't really care to do anything special on my birthdays. I do like to eat something awesome for dinner though. Last time I think we had steak and potatos.

Brak - You talking about QOTSA DVD's? I have "Over the Years and Through the Woods" which is a cd/dvd combo. It's a pretty good dvd.

Perfect. When I was that age I was working tuesday, wednesday and thursday from 2pm-6pm. Damned if that didn't rock (although the pay was obviously shit.)

Ah, gotcha. yeah, go for some RAM or something. Failing that, ask for Viva Pinata, then you can give it to your best horse pal.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30 to 6:30 for me. And only $6.50/hour :whistle2:(.
Oh well, ~$200 a month covers insurance, gas, and recreation expenses for me.

The title of this OTT sucks. Frankly, I don't know how anyone can listen to QotSA without getting a splitting headache. Worst. Band. Ever.

home for a few minutes before heading out to dinner.

the agility class we take the dog to isn't "upper crusty", it's more an extension of the obedience school which we brought him to. he got through basic obedience and the vet and obedience school owner suggested he does agility to help him focus on his surroundings and what he's doing since he's the definition of ADHD. for six 1-hour long classes it's $92 and it runs once per week for 6 weeks. the dog seems to enjoy it. it gets us all some exercise chasing him around the ring.

As I was leaving the lunch area last Friday I asked 'cafeteria girl' what she had planned for the weekend.
She said she was just picking up her brother and they were going to hang out a little. She then pulled away and made a cute pouty face, and said 'sigh, he's all i got....' in a cute little girl voice, then looked at me strangely for a few second.

I just said 'Aww. Well. See you next week!'

Doesn't seem like intense stalking in the court-recognized fashion. More like crushing out over random girls, dipping into the slightly obsessed territory. Posting blurry camera phone pics is a little dodgy, though.
 
If anyone's interested, my vegetable garden is doing alright. The tomato, cucumber and zucchini plants are going strong. The red-leafed lettuce is dead/eaten. The broccoli is doing alright. I just planted bush green beans and I'm hoping they do okay.

I put up some fencing on the backside of the garden, too, because I think some critters were getting in that way. I didn't have a fence up on the back yet because it was facing a 2-3-foot high dropoff. Something got in, though, so with the fence up now, it should be fine.

I hope.
 
I think I could write a soap opera with all the gears drama I have been surrounded by in the past month or so. I could call it as the COG turns.
