I don't think I've ever had hamburger helper, but I'd assume it's right up my alley. Easy to make and just mixes everything together .

Real men eat bison. healthier and tastier.
Okay so Green Day is ONE of the Worst. Bands. Ever.

Better Mr. Hot Dog Eatin Kid? ;)
I still think you would really have to reevaluate that statement.

I'm not going to argue that they're a good band, since I don't care. But they're hardly one of the worst bands ever.
Oh yes we do need a music war in the OTT.

Oh yes indeed.
The Police eat shit, Red Hot Chili Peppers eat shit, etc., etc., etc.

You listen to Best Buy displaycap music, foolish mortal.
Real men eat bison. healthier and tastier.
And I bet you hunt them yourself, Ted Nugent.
Also: all music sucks if it's been produced after 1989. Thread ovar.
I've always had a similar rule, but it was more like this: Most music produced before 1970 sucks.

I think we can agree that the grown-up versions of the Chili Peppers and Green Day are fucking jokes compared to their former selves.

Stadium Arcadium was one of the most self-indulgent albums I've ever heard while Green Day has become political when they used to sing songs, note: better songs, about being a bratty teen/20-something.
And I bet you hunt them yourself, Ted Nugent.
Never. Horse doesn't hunt.

And man, fuck. My father's car isn't starting, and he doesn't have the money to have it repaired.

This is a good analysis of the entire situation. Really, Green Day has a few classics under its belt.

Thank you.

Insomniac and Dookie are great for what they are, pop-punk that doesn't suck like today's bullshit. Most of Green Day's songs were about "feelings" and that type of stuff but it's not like the band took themselves too seriously.

Then again, I can't say shit about bands taking themselves too seriously because RAtM is one of my favorites and I don't think Zack knows what humor is.
I think Songs for the Deaf is now my favorite QotSA album. Wish I'd heard it sooner.
"You can't even hear it!"

Love that CD.

Am I a bad person if I like their made for radio stuff?

Hadn't seen that video. Pretty fucking awesome.

Songs for the Deaf is my favorite album. Ever.

lame, I get dinner w/ the girlfriend to eat at her place, but her dad is on his way home and I have to get my food.. and drive home to eat it.

I swear, I feel like I'm dating a 12 yr old.
Stadium Arcadium was one of the most self-indulgent albums I've ever heard.
I thought it was too repetitious and boring. It has a few good songs but the damn album is NOT worth 2 CDs that are badly mastered might I add. Not even the Steve Hoffman mastered LP edition could save that wreck.
Am I a bad person if I like their made for radio stuff?
Ha, not at all. I'm just saying all that based on my tastes. If you like them, more power to you. I'm not saying it's awful either, just not what the kind of stuff I prefer from those two bands.

Don't be modest. It is pretty bad.

I think 'Scobie' and 'Oops I did it again' have the best taste in music on these boards.

Nothing close to mine, but I'll acknowledge them.

Go With Flow is their best video/song.

I would have been highly disappointed if it wasn't part of their set when I saw them.

But, it was. Oh yes, it was.

Oh, and Songs for the Deaf is amazing, Era Vulgaris is really solid and probably my 2nd favorite album of theirs now.
Doesn't seem like intense stalking in the court-recognized fashion. More like crushing out over random girls, dipping into the slightly obsessed territory. Posting blurry camera phone pics is a little dodgy, though.
Exactly.
I don't even like posting the pictures but I must make you guys laugh.
Other than that, this 'stalking' is nothing more than the random thoughts we all have throughout our days.
You children and your music wars.
what type of music do ya like Mox?

I don't understand why someones taste in music interferes with the way they dress sometimes, it's justtt musssiicccccc.

 If I remember correctly, Mox doesn't music.

On QotSA. I heard a lot of good things about them and went to buy one of their cds. Lullabies to Paralyze was the most recent one out so I bought that. Thought it was alright, nothing special. I guess that's why I'm not so hot on them. Maybe I'll try listening to some of their other stuff.

It's so nice outside, and yet I'm stuck inside because I'm extremely sore.

Damn you, five hours of tennis and badminton on Friday.

Tomorrow Fox and Friends is doing a bit about the dangers of fantasy gaming. Someone has to tape that shit and post it on youtube so we can laugh at it.

Sweet. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang is on one of the HBOs tonight. Guess I know what I'm watching at 10:30. I've been wanting to see this movie forever.

 It's pretty funny to see yourself quoted in someones sig.

Karsh, you won't be disappointed. I enjoyed it the entire way thru.

Oh and The Italian Job is on FX. I love this movie.

An OTT for all the music tards to bitch about "bad music." There should just be a designated music wars thread, like the Blu-Ray vs. HD-DVD thread.
I'm pretty eclectic, too, but not as much as some other peoples.
You and I have really similar taste (no less than super musically compatible on Last.fm), but I listen to less indie stuff.
Nevertheless, you know what they say about great minds...(this goes out to Zew as well; y'all two are the only ones who I'm super compatible with).

Finally got back from the Reds game. I got sun burnt on my arms but its all good since we won in the 12th inning. Then ate dinner, and then over to some chicks house. Finally to my pc here at home where the lotion is...for the sun burn.
