Error when trying to sync trophies

When I try to sync my tophies, I load around 15-19% and then I recieve this error:

An error has occurred (80022A07)

Has anyone else ever experienced an error like this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
 
I have not been able to sync my trophies for over a week now. I read somewhere else that it has to do with so many people accessing the servers. I just tried it earlier this morning and it finally worked. So my advice is to try syncing at an off hour.

I do this all the time, no problems.
 
Yeah, I've been having this same issue but I found it I spam the 'X' button it generally loads. Maybe it's just a fluke, but I swear it seems to work.
 
same issue here. new firmware didn't help either. it's getting pretty irritating. i had this issue occassionally before, but since modern warfare came out i haven't been able to sync hardly at all.

Yeah, i agree. I have the same experince too.
 
I have been trying to sync my son's trophies for over a week now with no luck. I have tried at all times of the day and night and for at least 5 mins a pop. I really want to say the longer you wait and more trophies you get between syncs the worse it gets.
 
I had the same problem - it'd freeze at 62% on the sync and then spit out an error, which all started after the MW2 launch fiasco. Last night, I was able to get trophies to work by going into 'compare trophies' with someone on the friends list. The sync completed normally there, and trophies worked normally afterwards.

This has been happening to be since last week (before Firmware update and before I even touched MW2). I just think its some server problem going on right now.

That didn't work on mine, it still freezes on 12% then gives me that error.

It happened to me after MW2 I believe, although I could be wrong because I don't really check trophies that often.
 
I couldn't sync last night either tried like 5 times before I gave up. I just did it a few minutes ago, when someone suggested trying on off peak hours, that's what I'd recommend too, not too many people playing online at 7AM. ;)
 
I uploaded my new trophies today and it worked fine. If i get a time out error, i just press triangle on the trophy icon and choose "sync to server" from there, at times that goes through a lot faster.

Why? That is a massive thread covering many different FAQ's. I dont see a single mention of sync errors in that thread. Does this issue not deserve its own thread?

No, this issue does deserve it's own thread. LordKefka went through this forum and decided that he wanted to play mini-mod to tell people that "this" or "that" belongs in the FAQ thread.
 
This issue is due to the overload from MW2 on the Sony servers. If you try to sync in off-peak hours, you should have little to no problem. It's rather annoying but it'll reside in time.
 
I finally got mine to sync the other day... I'm pretty sure it was around 9 or so in the morning on a weekday. Before that it would hover around 10% then error out. After I was able to sync one, I haven't had another error since.

you have to sync your trophies with Sony's servers to show you got those trophies and also to update your card status (see my sig) they really need to work in an auto-sync feature in a future firmware
 
I had this issue too. There are tons of hits on google for it, and tons of theories. But the only one that seems to work is being relentless. I just ended up doing it about 20x in a row and it went from like 12% to 21%, to 50%, and then on the last time made it to 100%.

Sony really needs to fix this though.
 
Not only do I have this issue. I have also noticed it is taking me forever to download updates and/or content where before downloads weren't nearly this slow. It took me almost 40 minutes to download the Singstar update yesterday around 6pm EST.

yeah this too i got Pure on tuesday had to update it which was 20MB and it took pretty long i have a 1.5MBPS connection and it was going way slower than usual
