eStarland and Resident Evil Gaiden

So I bought this game used, but complete from eStarland this week (along with Disgaea, FWIW).

It arrived yesterday w/ Disgaea, but the box was sealed. It doesn't appear to be a reseal, and the box is in mint shape. I know I bought it used, but it could totally pass for new.

So, the moral question is (if/when I decide to resell it), is it new or not? The only way I can figure out the answer to that question is to ask if others have ordered used items from eStarland that have arrived shrinkwrapped (but clearly used)?

It's been a long time since I've bought a new GBA game.. but I think they have the same folded wrapper like console titles do. If its got a seam all around the package it was probably resealed, but who knows until you open it (because there might be cart or manual wear)... and then it's not new.

eStarland reseals all their used products, its not factory wrapped. They even do it for games that are not complete.

presumably by the time you sell it, unless via estarland, it will be much more obivous that it is used. Anyway, I think honesty is invariably the best policy.

I agree entirely; since I have no experience buying from eStarland before, I did not know if they resealed their games or not. Now that know they do, I will feel more comfortable opening it to play

Heh.. yet you asked if you should pass it off as new when it comes to resell.;-)

Only because I had no idea if they resealed, or if I was a very fortunate soul, indeed. It wasn't the idea of "passing it off," but it is the idea of "did I just buy a somewhat rare GBC game brand new for $13?"
