After looking over their site and trade-in values, I'm temped to trade some stuff into them to pick-up some new games. With Estarland, I can get $113.40, and at Gamestop, even with the 30% bonus, I'll only get $93.30. I'm kind of curious as to how their shipping works though.

With the credit, I'd order UFC 2010 and Red Dead Redemption. That said, do they ship me those games in a box, with another box inside of that to ship my stuff out (I saw that they ship your items first). Also, they have this thing called EZ Ship where if you trade in 10 or more games valued at $100 or more, they send you a UPS label with shipping paid. During checkout, I didn't see anything for the EZ Ship option. Do they just automatically email me the label?

If anyone who has some experience doing online trade-ins with Estarland could chime in, I'd appreciate it.

They either e-mail you the label automatically with EZ Ship or you might have to ask them for it, they forgot to send it to me so I had to ask for it but they sent it right away when they ask. Also they are very strict about the condition of the games, if they have any scratches there is a chance they will get rejected.

I read about how strict they are. All my games come with everything and are totally mint. I'll probably take a picture or two before I send them out with the games completely scratch free and the trade-in values incase they try to screw me.

Just be sure to clean all your game discs so there's no dust or dirt. Other than that I've traded in a lot to them and they are very fair with their values. If they change the value of a game after you've submitted it, then its for a very good reason. If your games are actually mint then you should no problems.

Alright, I think I'm gonna take the plunge. Some of their values are WAY too good to pass up ($20 for NCAA Football 10).

One thing though, nobody has touched on them sending a box. They do that correct?

EDIT

Nevermind about the box. I read through their different pages and didn't see them mentioning this, only that you could reuse their shipping materials when they send you your order. Not too big of a deal. I'm just worried about them shipping my stuff first since it says it excludes pre-orders. I went ahead and ordered UFC 2010, which is considered a pre-order. I did select the option to group my order into the fewest amount of shipments though, so hopefully they just send everything out Tuesday.

I traded with Estarland before. I couldn't turn down the trade-in prices too. Be repaired to wait. It took maybe 3 weeks for them to receive my games, process the trade, credit me, ship my new order and for me to receive the new games. If the extra bucks is worth the time go for it. For me, it was. They gave me $80 for my DJ hero I got on amazon for $90.

I'm hoping I don't have to send first, despite me including UFC in my order, which is a pre-order. It comes out on Tuesday, so it's not like I ordered a game that comes out in October. On my order invoice it says to ship by the specified date, but they didnt give me a specified date, which I'm hoping means their sending my stuff out first. I'll probably call them tomorrow just to get it sorted.

If you're going to pay by using the credit from the trade-ins, you will have to send the games in first. They're not going to send you the UFC game if you haven't paid for it.

That's specifically what they advertise though. It's also why they make you provide credit card info if you want them to ship first.

"Receive your order first and prepare your trade-in using our packaging material & return label."
The only thing they mention is it not applying to pre-orders, but like I said, the game I pre-ordered comes out tomorrow. It's not like I PO'd a game that releases in November.

EDIT

Just spoke to a CS rep using their chat support. I got everything squared up no problems. They're going to ship my order out tomorrow, and I'm to send in my games when I receive the UPS label from them. I've read horror stories about their customer service from others, but I had no problems getting in contact with someone. They were incredibly helpful.

Bumpage.

I forgot to ask the CS rep yesterday. What is their average amount of time your order needs to be shipped out by? The emails all say to send it out by the date specified, but there is no date anywhere in any of the emails saying when it needs to go out by. I've got it all packed and went to ship it today, but the UPS drop box that's in town apparently isn't there anymore, so tomorrow I have to drive to the one out of town to ship it.

I'm assuming I'm not past the date, but I just want to make sure. I'd ask them, but their online support is closed for the day.

Its something like a week and a half after the date the order was submitted. You still have time, but they have the option of dropping the value if you don't ship by the date they specified. Usually there's a date next to each item on the packing slip/list they give you after you place the trade order.

Thanks for the help. I checked that slip and saw the date (6/6), so I'm good, assuming this other UPS drop box hasn't disappeared like the one in town seemingly has.

I gotta go with Rashad on Sat. After all of Rampage's antics from the past couple months, I kinda wanna see him get his ass kicked, but I get the feeling he'll win. Either way, Shogun will destroy the winner.

Did you get your copy of UFC 2010 yet? I'm wondering how it is before I buy.

Nah, Estarland just shipped it out today. I used 2-3 day priority, so it should hopefully be here Thursday or Friday.
