Eternal Sonata ps3 27.99 free ship Newegg

One of the best battle systems in an RPG ever (IMO), great music, pretty corny backstory, lots of boring historical facts in it about who the game is about (Chopin).. but all in all, I recommend it 100%. One of the best RPGs i've played in a long time.

Its great..a little short at about 28 hours but sometimes i wonder if the fact that scrolling text is replaced with audio now makes an impact on the RPGS's length.

It does have a very good battle system that gets more complex as the game goes on. Above poster is rite, goofy story and kind of falls apart in the end but it's worth a few playthrews. This will be my third for the ps3 when it arrives.

I figured I may as well as buy more Namco RPGS so hopefully they release more on the ps3.
hmmmm I have been wanting a sealed version for the collection.

Perhaps I will bite on this.
Do it!

Ironically, the faceplate on my 360 is Eternal Sonata, despite the fact that I've never owned it for that system.

I love this game. Really quality stuff. Really not sure I want to pay more than $15 for the PS3 version given I beat the 360 version 100%. The new characters don't quite seem like "enough."

It's a lot more than just new characters. I borrowed the 360 version after I beat the PS3 just to try it, and it's night and day how much better the PS3 version is. Makes me think I'll probably need to upgrade for Tales of Vesperia as well.

What Shrike said! This could be one of those you'll be looking to play down the road. It's a pretty solid JRPG. And come on $28 is a steal for a good game now a days.
I loved it when I played the 360 version. Did this game ever come with trophies?
No, just overpriced DLC.
What's the improvements aside from the new characters they added?
They're not actually new characters persay, just two who were not playable in the 360 version. Several new dungeons, increased difficulty (it's still not that hard), a few other things. Most importantly though, none of it feels just tacked on. It's without a doubt a superior product to the 360 version.

oh wow i didnt know about the new characters,

after looking them up that seems to be a nice addition. wouldn't pay extra for it on my 360 edition, but I like that the ps3 one includes them

I am waiting until I have two other games I want and I might pick it up from a B2G1 free sale. I have such a major backlog of rpgs as of late, Dragons Age didn't show up until 11/10 which was like, yeah I'll play you eventually.

I thought this game was actually going to be rare. Amazon ran out at some point, and the price had steadily been creeping up around the $40 mark on ebay. Did newegg just run into some old stock or did Bamco reprint it?
