Ever completely missed a whole page of a test?

I got a Spanish test back today and apparently I skipped the whole last page!
The weird thing is, I don't remember the page being there at all. I could've sworn it wasn't and it even has an extra staple on it, indicating that it could've been added later. I also remember wondering why the material that was on the last page wasn't there while I was taking the test.

Now I'm in this awkward situation where my hot TA definitely seems to suspect me of foul play (or something..she's not the way she normally acts towards me), but I think she may have screwed up as well and is trying to cover it up. I don't know, in any case, I get to retake that section.

this ever happened to you guys?

No but I guess it could happen. I was doing some homework last night and just up and skipped two problems at random. When we were going over it today I was like "WTF..where is number 16...and 28?" No big deal though since you get to retake the part you missed. Mistakes happen.

no... but it makes me wanna try to take the last page of a test off and throw it away to see what the teacher would do...

Once in first grade I was busy drawing pictures (probably of power rangers) in the margins of my paper during a spelling test. I missed like 5 words. Im still really guwd at spelling though.

So... apparently all Spanish teachers/TAs in college are hot? Sample size of 2 says yes! My only hot teacher/TA in 5 years of school, actually.

And yes, I've done that before, in high school at some point. Usually just involves paper sticking together and not paying attention so well. But since you can retake that part, no harm no foul.

That has happened to me once on a final in high school.
Your situation sounds like human error.
That's happened a couple times on tests in my current classes. Just explain to the prof and they will usually try to fix the situation for you if you explain it calmly and sensibly.

the one I had last semester was hot as well :) The one this semester is single too...but she's 33 :\ she looks like she's about 25 though.

yep, that's what happened. I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

[/quote]I don't think my teacher was any older than 30. And me being probably the only senior in an entry-level Spanish class, with 4 years of high school Spanish... you can guess what happened.

Unrequited lust. :whistle2:(

This topic reminds me of the part in Pursuit of Happiness where the first guy finished missed the whole last page.

I never missed a whole page before, but I did occasionally misread the problem numbers on homework.

I really do want to see that movie, and you go on and spoil it?

Yes, I've done it before, but it was in like, 3rd grade.

 I was the first to finish. then again, I always am in this class, so that wasn't very out of the ordinary.

 she provided a nice mental image and that was that.

In my research methods class we had weekly quizzes that had 2 essays. One week I breezed through it, turned it in, and walked out feelin' pretty good. I got outside the building and said quite loudly "son of a bitch" as I realized that for some reason the quiz didn't have an essay. Sure enough when I got it back she had written on there "did you forget this page?" No, I just decided to try my luck and see if you'd notice.

I did on an AP Stats test last semester. I had finished first and was looking around wondering why everyone was doing some graph.
Turns out that I hadn't looked on the back of the last page where it was. The teacher let me redo it though :).

I'm sure I did a few times. Generally, it was only when they just hid one question on the back of a page.

I did this once in my Chemistry class sophmore year of high school. It was on the final too. It's been too long to remember if it was my mistake or the teacher's but I completely skipped half of the multiple choice section of the final which was like two pages. Luckily, she knew my track record for the whole year, I had the best grade in the class, and let me retake the last two pages. I don't know if my packet was missing the last two pages or if I just skipped the problems on accident.

Yes, and I just got a 60% on my last exam with like 10 questions in a row wrong which makes me think I might have put my answers in wrong somehow

you do realize that will smith said that to just get inside the guys head and piss him off/worry him. Pretty sure there was no essay on the test. Good movie though.

This happend to me on a midterm back in college, it was a essay question it was one essay our of 5 that I needed to complete. It almost cost me to fail that class. But I made a big comeback on the next midterm. That class was freaking hard too.
