I had bought Halo: Reach at K-Mart and got a coupon for $25 off any gaming purchase. That coupon expires today, conveniently before most of the big holiday games get released. So I went out and picked up Super Street Fighter IV. Or at least, I intended to. I got home and realized that the clerk had instead pulled a copy of regular Street Fighter IV off the shelf.
Now I have this game I don't want and I'd like to exchange it for a game I do want. I'm wondering if I'd be able to wait a week for Fallout: New Vegas to come out, exchange Street Fighter IV for that, and get the coupon discount that's labeled on my receipt (without mention of the expiration date). The original coupon would be expired by then.
Are the customer service departments at these stores usually wise to this kind of swap?
