Since I got an SP, I haven't even looked at my original GBA. I almost can't believe I shelled out the cash to buy it new several years back. :cry:
 
Sounds like a good deal, how much are these used at eb games or gamestop? Around $30? Good deal if thats the price on used then. Thanks OP!

I picked it up first day it was out, but it was a genuinely awesome system aside from not being able to see the screen to play Circle of the Moon. Hmm, really on the fence on this one since I traded in my original for an SP last year.
 
I have an original GBA that works just fine, but if I can get this 50% off tomorrow I might do it for the heck of it.
 
Agreed, if they have it at my TRU tommarow for the %50 off or whatever I'll grab it for sure. Why are the other original GBA packages like $170 though?!? o_O

One of my TRU still has a bunch of these, but I still would rather get the SP better. I hated having to play under the light. But does the one come with the free game also available in store? I might have to bite if it is:cool:

So basically - Buy Pokemon Crystal and get a free GBA. I guess they need to unload these things somehow. Too bad I bought my cousins a brand new GBA already from a flea market for $15.00. The guy had about 5 of them but I didn't ask how he aquired them.
 
A lot of stores are clearancing out their original gba's very cheap, you just have to be lucky and hit on one, maybe he got them from a walmart black friday special, the original gba is also hard to sell because most kids/adults want the SP or the DS now, and the original gba is way out of style for most.
 
And now the GBA Micro. I would get one just to have it in my collection, since I already have an SP. Pretty good deal for a new GBA and Pokemon Crystal. I don't think my store had any GBA's though. I will still check.

Well, I need a GBA of any kind (so I can play Pac-Man Vs at the very least), so how much could I trade in Pokemon Crystal for?

Ah well... guess I can probably get $5-$10 for it on a trade... might make it an okay price for a new GBA. Though I think Walmart sells them for that price, I'll have to look.
 
Bah the page for the "company" that made the Afterburner kit for the GBA is now some weird candy music thing. So I suppose that means they no longer make them. :( Wanted to get one, mod it up and get a rechargeable battery pack for it so that stinks. Bah never should have traded my Arctic one in the first place.

You rock, that is the exact same reason I got 2 of these :p (have 2 sps already), for the 4 player GBA/gamecube link games hehe
