Experiences with Allanimedvd.com?

Hi everyone,

I was interested in placing an order with allanimedvd.com, but I was just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with them or has ordered from them in the past. Their prices are a little too low, and I'm guessing these might be bootleg copies or something, especially since the artwork on some of the DVDs are different from what I've seen. Please let me know if you've dealt with them in the past. Thanks.

if your unsure just go to another site..in most case when the cover's dont match it usually means they're bootleg...especially when it comes to anime

They're bootlegs, so don't waste your time or money with them. Stuff like Naruto isn't even available on R2 DVD I think.

Actually Naruto is available in R2, but I do agree those all seem like bootlegs.

check out www.deepdiscountdvd.com, and www.dvdpacific.com. Their prices are pretty good, and their stuff is legit. But you might not want to order artboxs from them cause their shipping is not the best. Also check out the forums on www.animeondvd.com

Ok cool thanks for the advice I guess I'll be going somewhere else for my DVDs. I was actually going to order their Gundam Seed box set (yes thats right, I said box set) but I can just get them seperately I guess.

I don't think there is a box set with multiple volumes yet, i am not sure. But there is the Vol.1 with artbox

Actually that could simply mean it's a R3 version and not a bootleg. While it's not exactly standard for a release to have english and chinese subtitles in R3, some DVDs have both, particurly Taiwan releases IIRC.

There aren't that many anime DVDs released in such format, especially the new Gundam Seed Destiny eps. On top of that, all the covers and # of discs on that site are identical to those HK bootlegs I have. And the price range (around $8/disc) falls within the bootleg category as well.

i got bootleg naruto of ebay for 30$... it isnt that bad but... you can tell its bootleg. i got 8 dvds... or 110 episodes..

i just buy from bestbuy or deepdiscountdvd.com now. no more ebay.
