Pikmin 2 and XIII (BOth GCN): Total $43.39. If there wasn't free shipping the this deal would be useless as the standard shipping on my order would have been $7.xx.
 
Yay...now I have Anthology and Chronicles again...(they ended up...missing...after the last roommates I had moved out).

Still...I feel dirty ordering from MTV.
 
In again. This time for Vagrant Story, Futurama (XBOX), and Golden Sun:TLA.
Really fighting myself on Growlanser as I am not sure that I want it, but the $30 discount appeals to my mega-cheapness. Anyone have any idea on how long this deal will go on for?
 
I used the potential value of the Growlanswer Deluxe set in the future as a reason to justify buying it now... Though I have no intention of selling it, or keeping it sealed.

Anyway it looks like MTV is onto us CAGers, as I can no longer add the summer code to get an additional 10% off. That moves me from the fence to the yard that doesn't contain Growlanser... :cry:
 
rebthor - yep. I had the discount showing, went to checkout, noticed it wasn't on the final checkout page... then began to reconsider (as that 10% made a difference). Silly them...

The code is dead... wonder if there is another? For fall? (and yes, I tried 'fall' already :)
 
MTV bastards... looks like I missed out on the code by about an hour or two :\ Still not too bad with the 8.29 off 50 and free shipping, but not hot enough for me to buy anymore :)
 
Damn it...I was waiting to order when I got home from work.

Oh well, looks like I will pass now. Still a decent deal, but nothing TOO great. Hopefully another coupon surfaces soon, but I highly doubt it.

I still get get Rocky Legends and Midway Arcade 2 for under $50 shipped....decent.

No kidding. I was seriously considering ordering about 8 or so games within the next hour all on my credit card, which would have seriously screwed me next month when the bill came. Glad I limited myself to only Halo 2 LE.
 
Heh, it's a good thing I order at like 4 AM when I couldn't get to sleep. Otherwise I'd have missed this completely! Though I wish I had gotten Paper Mario 2 and maybe Growlanswer Gen Dex as well even though I have no clue what the series is about.
 
Darn, I missed out on this. I was having problems registering for mtv.com earlier, and I figured out it was a Firefox (browser) problem. I was able to sign up using IE, but I haven't gotten my activation email, so I wasn't able to cash in on this deal. :(

I got in on this deal this morning, and used the summer thing with discount. The confirmation email did not reflect on the discounted price but i checked my balance on my simon gift card i was using and they did give me the discount. The email lied, and discounts were given i believe.
 
Even without the 10% off they still had some great deals that are a lot better than any site I've seen. I'm definitely gonna check them whenever I want to order something online.

That's exactly what I DID do.... But hey, I can rationalize my purchases by thinking that I WAS going to get them all without a doubt eventually and in the end it only costs me 2 of my weekly paychecks. Right?.......................RIGHT?
I preordered Halo 2 CE, Metroid Prime 2, Paper Mario 2, Pikmin 2 (SO MANY 2S), GTA San Andreas, Resident Evil 4, Otogi 2, and finally Eyetoy Groove. Plus about 4 CDs within the many orders I placed and a whole buttload of GC game cases. Only one of the orders went over the $40 mark. I saved somewhere in the ballpark of $100+ in the end. And since I've become really quite patient for games I've grown to not mind USPS value shipping since it almost ALWAYS comes within a week.
 
i am very glad to have gotten growlanser for under sixty, i did this deal a few days ago for growlanser ago when it was originally posted in the halo 2 le thread. good deal :D
 
yo, i just checked my email and they have my order totally different from when i placed it. it says 53.66 instead of 41.70.
i sent an email to customer service, we'll see how that goes.
bastards. i knew it could never be worth it to register with mtv.com.

On my card its a hold and not a charge... I ordered Growlanser.

Great deal and all but it killed my bank account. Maybe I should go sell some blood tomorrow or something.

only ff chronicles shipped. i ordered on the day someone posted this. i signed up on the same day too. today i even got a free MTV keychain. it says a free gift from mtv. its a moonman keychain. its pretty heavy so i just gonna put it as a display near my monitor.
 
Holy crap, my preorder for Here is Greenwood shipped already! It's not supposed to be out until Tuesday!

Also, most of my non-preorder shit shipped; only thing that didn't is Naruto vol. 4, which was a pickup for a friend and was only $5 so I don't really care.
 
Did anyone else get a "free gift" from MTV? I got a really heavy metal keychain figure of the MTV astronaut. Its about 3 inches tall and too heavy to be on anyones keychain. I ordered Growlanser from them so it must be for people with expensive orders.

Oh, and preorders will ship a day or two early sometimes depending on the place, since it won't arrive until the actual release date or later.
