Explain your CAG name Thread

Seems like we had a thread similar before. My friends name is patrick he use to call himself the pman. My name is john so I stole it, and called myself jman. The 619 comes from rey mysterio.

I have a Chewbacca chalice back home that I got from a buddy for Christmas that sits next to my computer. I thought that the idea of Chewbacca being a doctor would be a funny thing and awesome (if you have arm pain he just rips the arm off). I shortened Doctor down to Doc and Chewbacca to Bacca and here I am.
Rocko's Modern Life fan.

That's about it.
Damn, I thought it was a reference to what Mickey called Rocky.

A famous game designer (Gary Gygax) used to write a column (From the Sorcerer's Scroll) in a gaming magazine (The Dragon), and often refered to the "Gentle Readers." In that vein, I am a Gentle Gamer.

Part of my initials, phonetically. I can make a neat rebus puzzle out of where my username comes from:

M+W-(L+U)

ta-da!

A derivation of my real name, first selected when I decided to pick an alter ego for a local punk rock radio show I did with friends between 1997 and 1998.

I no longer care for it much, fwiw.

I go to the University of Illinois in Champaign. (Illini)
I own a Jeep and go off-roading from time to time (Jeeper)

Not too much to explain, lol.

My name is Zac, and one of my high school friends realized if I ever became a Pro at something, I'd be a "Pro"Zac. We decided I was pretty professional at being myself, and the nickname stuck with me since then, going so far as to have it embroidered on my jacket (by my parents as a graduation gift) and even some teachers knowing me by that name.

On CAG, just 'ProZac' was taken, so I had to alter it a little.

We have had a few actually. I remember making one a long while back, and there had already been one before that.

One of my friends had a younger sister that would pronounce my name "Rig" when she was younger. I started using it for forums and initials and such on games.

I noticed you also have "Professor Murder"; isn't he a rapper playing at Coachella this weekend?
Bri Ansra Rega Mes

Latin Phrase which loosely translates into " Guy who sells video games on ebay"
And here I thought it just said "Brians rare games". Boy do I feel silly.
Chose it because I'm so fucking cool.
wow as many times I have seen your name and just thought you were a couch potato. Never caught it till now.But your right that is so fucking cool.

mine

mr = Im a man. MAN!

hockey= I like hockey

66= mario lemieux.

Plus people in high school would call me mr hockey. Its hard being the only ice hockey player in GA!!!!!!!
Well at least my old high school has a team now! 10 years to late assholes!

It was a nickname given to me by a friend (Messiahbolical....google it :> ) mostly because of my funbags and love handles. At first, I HATED it. I thought it was mean and tasteless but now I sorta like mean and tasteless.

For about the first year I was here, I read it as "My Kever Min".
It was the superhero to a short story I wrote in middle school in the 80s. I've been using it on the internet for about 12 years now.
sounds like a slow mexican torture device. :)

Mine was acquired while in the military. One of my NCO's started saying, "What's up Neudog" instead of the typical, "What's up Dog". Since then I've kept it and used it pretty much everywhere I have accounts on the web. Also my wife had a custom Dallas Cowboys Jersey made with the name.

Xecutioner - picked up from Counter-Strike where some e-ghetto kid jokingly called me an executioner when I would massacre entire teams usually with headshots (aka excution-style). Plus, when signing up for the Xbox Live beta waaaay back when I decided that "execution" looks much better without the first e.

Tha - so I wouldn't be confused with just any second-rate "executioner/xecutioner".
I play music without reading sheet music. I play by ear. Pretty damn well if you ask me.

Hence, MusicNoteLess.
I hear you play a mad Mexican hat dance!

Mine came from a comic/story that I worked on while I was in school. Though at the time it was simply StarKnight. I simply added the X cause I thought it sounded cooler.

Been using that as a online handle for several years now on numerous sites , or variations thereof if StarKnightX was actually taken (which was the case with AIM oddly enough).

My username was slightly modified from a real rappers name (His stage name is FreekeyZeekey), but I kinda adopted this name, because the 'zeeky' part is kind of a play on my real name, Cesar.
And as for the 'freaky' part... Let's just say I have a girlfriend that really likes that side of me. ;)

my real last name is morgan, and being the stoner that i was when i thought of it, i decided to spell kaptin all stoner-like and more original

My name is from years of CS 1.6 in high school. My original name was mr. show after the greatest show ever made, then it changed to Fuzi0n after randomly seeing a background in google images. I was looking to change my game name and Fuzi0n sounded cool and my friends seemed to like it so it stuck.

I have a minor obsession with Nine Inch Nails, and my go-to username for the first 10 years I was online was "broken_machine", which is a phrase that Trent used in a couple of NIN tunes. Eventually, I grew tired of typing the whole thing out and shortened it to "bmachine".

About 3 years ago I started getting into American synthpop and discovered that there's a band from California called B! Machine, too.

Now I bounce back and forth between being "bmachine" and "randy_wrecked", which is my ultra-heavy industrial DJ name. ;)
I noticed you also have "Professor Murder"; isn't he a rapper playing at Coachella this weekend?
Could be. That's my roller derby name, which I took from a sketch on "Mr. Show."

Back in junior year of HS, bout a year or so before I joined CAG, I got into this whole "inevitable death" phase. It finally hit me that we would all be dead one day. So one pot-smoking afternoon, I came up with "Never4ever". Not sure why I added the wings ("-") to the beginning & end. CAGs the only place I've ever used this variation of the name.

Nowadays, I reason that it's more a metaphor for change. Nothing ever stays the same, ergo there's no such thing as forever, ergo never forever.

Well I'm as crazy as a loon at times, and I love RPGs and swords and dragons and such and I tend to be a bit on the chivalrous side most of the time so hence the knight.

DT - Played defensive end in high school but my freshmen coach would call the position defensive tackle.

778 - Our freshmen football team used hand-me-down varsity jerseys and I got stuck with a 77 home and 78 away.
