If you're 18-42 you can register on 1800goguard.com and look about for "Hoo-ah" points. These are staggeringly easy questions "hidden" throughout the site. Every question is worth 100 points, and you can redeem 500 points at a time for codes for five song downloads from iTunes. In less than an hour I racked up 1500 points, worth 15 songs, which let me download an entire album for free.

Of course, you will have to deal with the knowledge that the National Guard will be sending you recruitment junk mail.

Worth the time, IMHO

I found 20, thanks a million OP.

....Oh and for anybody who starts getting harassed and wants the easy way out of the conversation, asthma and suicidal tendencies will get them off your back faster than Bush dropped from that pretzel. (Ha! I took a jab at the president that didn't include the War or his gross incompetence!)

According to the site, there are 31 questions (3100 points) possible.

And by register, I mean register under the "hoo-ah" points FAQ area thing.

Military action in Iraq costs over 1 billion dollars an hour. This is just a drop in that bucket.

Due to sheer incompetence, you aren't allowed to post anymore.

On another note, I may try this when I get back into town.

Another easy way to get the recruitment officers off your back is to tell them you are majoring in fine arts, or that you are lined up to become a professional artist. I've never heard a marine stutter with such uncertainty as I did when he desperately wracked his mind for a position in the army in which one draws pretty pictures.

Also, fuck iTunes.

Awesome find though!

I'd love to get some of these free codes, but I can't complete the registration process. Where it says "What characters appear in the image above?", the image won't load for me. It says it's loading, but it crawls like a snail and never finishes. I got up and left for a while, and when I came back much later, it hadn't changed.

Thanks, OP. But I think you should change the title, we're not exploiting anything. I'm sure they are more than happy to fill our heads with their propaganda.

I could give a fuck less though, free songs are free songs.
Shoot. I could only find 10. Where'd you guys find them?
Still, 10 songs are nice.
Click on every heading along the top (training, adventure, money, etc.) and then click on each subheading within that group (there will be a list on the left side of the page) Sometimes clicking on one item in the list opens up several sub-subheadings. Try each of those as well. For instance, under the Training bar, clicking on "basic training" will get you to choices like "red phase", "white phase", "blue phase". Each of those has Hooah points questions.

I've found 29 and I think I've clicked everything on the site at least 3 times. Does anyone have any suggestions for obscure, hard to find questions that aren't in the same areas as most of the others that I might have missed? I don't care about getting all 31, but if I can just find that 30th one, it will be good for 5 more free songs, so I'd like to get one more.

Thanks for any help, and thanks very much to the OP for starting this thread.

I got like 20 free songs from the army. At my local movie theatre, theres a box with cards that are redeemable for a free iTunes song :)

yes, every single dollar you give goes toward a Hoo-ah link.

I told a recruiter that and he held up a brochure and said" WHo do you think designed that?" I ofcourse said an ass hat reply " Snipers?" and he said " No, graphic artists. You will instantly be able to make brochures and posters and be paid for it! How about that?"

SO didnt work as one would think. Just tell them that you dont want to die over something you dont beleive in " Not everyone dies, you can be a chef!" ...QUIet recruiter in my MIND!
The ultimate irony, use these points you got from the military to download some Anti-Flag or other anti-GW songs.
You win for best post of the day. ;)

Odd, this site says the National Guard was founded in 1636. Now, I'm no history major, but how can you have a NATIONAL guard if there wasn't even a NATION back in 1636? Was it originally founded by Indians? If that's the case, they didn't do a very good job GUARDING their NATION, did they?

Due to lack of comedic talent, you are not allowed to post here anymore.

I got me 30 free songs, whoo! I just hope some National Guard Recruiter doesn't go knocking on my friends door, asking if he can speak to "A Mr. Percy Chuggs".

The modern Army National Guard evolved from the 182nd Infantry Regiment and the 101st Engineer Battalion, Massachusetts Army National Guard, which evolved from some scattered units founded in MA on December 13, 1636.

So do they look you up and physically call you or what?

Is that why you're making up excuses?

Also, another very easy way out would be to say you were gay, and keep repeating it if they say "Well sir we have a don't ask don't tell policy so"

When I tell a joke, I'll let you know.

Actually I won't, I don't know who the fuck you are anyways.

So far, I've only been able to find 29 out of the 31 questions, I clicked through just about everything. Do they have the points on any of those other sites? Like the Guard Events page, or Guard Radio?

I want to get question 30, so I can have another 5 songs. Damnit.

I'm in the same boat.

I'm one short of another 5 songs.

People, post the most obscure ones you have found!

Hey somebody hook me with free iTunes!!!!!

EDIT: How many codes are available? I'm at work and can't log into my iTunes account. The reason I ask is cause I remember one promo with iTunes where people were get dulpicate song codes. It would say the code has already been used.
