Hey, at least the USA is evil. I mean, if we were "all for justice" and whatnot, what would we be? Aquaman, that lameass sonovabitch. Now see, with the Evil tag, at least we can pick someone cool!

hehe im SURE canadiens wish their country would start wars for no reason ^^ i mean those 20 year old kids need to die someway, right?

its hard to believe any westernized country would envy us.

I dunno maybe they would envy us, due to our very low unemployment rate compared to the international numbers, our higher standard of living...the party that is now controlling the trump cards in canada is a seperatist group...

Believe it or not, people don't have to be American to be worth something.

Beyond that...we're only a small corner of the world. There are a few hundred other countries out there, and a few billion other people. America isn't the center of the world, just as the Earth isn't the center of the universe. America doesn't mean "better."

And unless I'm wrong, I think that most countries tax their citizens. It's not an America-only concept.
Care to explain that one? That doesn't seem to make much sense...
Yes, the world only cares when the US invades someone else. No one cares when these crap holes invade one another.
Believe it or not, people don't have to be American to be worth something.
Yes, worth "something", but not worth an American.
Beyond that...we're only a small corner of the world.
We are by far the most important part of the world.
America isn't the center of the world, just as the Earth isn't the center of the universe. America doesn't mean "better."

Yes, actually it is. And "American" does mean better.

Or perhaps you would like to look to the personal freedom guaranteed you in the Chinese Constitution?

The chance to become rich in the EU?

Maybe something to eat in Africa (not to mention political stability)?

Actually we don't need the middle east, we currently produce more oil, then we import, but we ship it all to japan, at a price cheaper then what we import it for...i don't know why...One of the reasons why japan attacked was due to us stopping shipment of oil to them...I don't know why they can't bid in the open market, know decades after the war..

You do understand that the U.S. consumes more oil than it produces. Hell, Texas consumes more oil than it produces.

http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/cabs/usa.html.

Actually it is correct. The U.S. produces 7.9 million barrels per day. The United States consumed an average of about 20.0 million barrels per day of oil in 2003. The United States averaged total gross oil (crude and products) imports of an estimated 12.2 million barrels per day during 2003.

Do your homework next time.

this is true, but you also have to look at the fact over the past 15 years, the us company's have cut back by 25%, http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/cabs/usa.html

During 2003, the United States produced around 7.9 million barrels per day (MMBD) of oil, of which 5.7 MMBD was crude oil, and the rest natural gas liquids and other liquids. U.S. total oil production in 2003 was down sharply (around 2.7 MMBD, or 25%) from the 10.6 MMBD averaged in 1985. U.S. crude oil production, which declined following the oil price collapse of late 1985/early 1986, leveled off in the mid-1990s, and began falling again following the sharp decline in oil prices of late 1997/early 1998. With the rebound in world oil prices since March 1999, U.S. crude production fell slightly in 2002 and 2003, and is now at 50-year lows.

Hey I like America and Americans, I like canada and canadians, no one in my circles "hate America, or consider them Evil,'

I wonder how the polling was conducted, did they call up and just ask" what do you think of america? or did they ask "Would you describe America as the best country in the world or as Evil?

Sure I believe some policies to be arrogant and US Centric but if Canada was the same size and had the same power perhaps they would be the same. I think that the current administation doesn't much care what the rest of the world thinks or does, even though Bush said "either you are with us or against us' I believe his priorties aren't placed on allys nor working together. Maybe he's right maybe he's wrong, but one can (I think) all agree that many other countries think that he's wrong.

I liken Canada and the US to brothers One is big and powerful can suceed in whatever he puts his mind to, is financially secure and if not liked admired/envied by most. Where as Canada is the little brother, trying to show that he isn't his brother and trying really hard to show that he is his own man. In the end though both will be there for each other no matter what.

I didn't say they weren't entitled to an opinion. That I would pee all over it is another matter.
That kind of thinking is the problem with Americans. Totally arrogant.

Evil sounds like a corny word to describe America, so I will instead say that it is an arrogant, wastful, destructive crybaby of a country. At least, some people in it and a lot of it's current leaders are. I know that a lot of people want to change the "destructive" and "wasteful" parts. I won't say that it isn't a fine place to live, but England and Canada and Australia and plenty of other countries are just as good. It's not necessarily the people, but it's the dumbfounding, completly against-policy actions of our president and his administration. This could be a perfectly fine country (as in, one that doesn't rape the planet and start random wars), but it's just the mindset that people like Bush have that's keeping this from being a country that I (or a lot of the rest of the world) can respect politically. Honestly, when there are millions of people that believe in what I quoted, what do you expect? For the world to think that that's really wonderful? Honestly, America's problems in world standing are it's own fault. There is so much that Bush has done wrong, none of the world-wide resentment of the US could possibly be a suprise. I want so bad for it to be a better country, and if people want the world to stop hating us...then quit being arrogant fools. Ug. I don't want to get into this any further. It's complicated. I don't hate America/American's, I just think some things need to be quite a bit different.
sounds good... maybe we can get all three branches of the US gov't to sit and watch the 2 spiderman movies over and over (until they hear Uncle Ben... With great power comes great responsibility.... I don't think this is only true for superheros but superpowers as well.
The fact that posts like this can happen is the beauty of America. We take this country for granted. And anyone who doesn't believe we are the richest mofo's in the world has got problems. The only thing I wish is that we would freaking give back a lil to the world; ie: Africa...

And my personal bash: Anyone who doesn't like it in America, there's the door. Another great thing about America is that you can easily leave the country if you're a citizen. So stop whining and get the hell out. Or shut up and sit down. But of course, you're entitled to your amendment rights...
Love it or leave it eh? So if one doesn't like it in America you wouldn't invite them to work and do something about it? Sure one is free to move out, but more importantly in the US, in Canada, in the UK we are free to try to change our country, state/province/territory/ city, neighborhood through a free flowing dialog of ideas and action.
I'm curious as to how many AMERICAN teens see the American Government as evil.

Just about every teen I know would say so. Of course this is slightly slanted. Most of the teens I know come from lower income families. Maybe if the Bush tax cuts actually worked for thier families, it would be a different story...
And how do you know they AREN'T working? Who is to say that the cuts havent helped? Personally I think they have. Just because he poor arent suddenly rich doesn't mean the cuts don't help them.
